Abstract:
Abstract:
A blast resistant and dispersement accessory adapted for retro-fitting to an existing safe (1) or similar security device, said accessory comprising an auxiliary casing (2) formed of blast resistant materials adapted for retro-fitting to the body of said safe, said casing including an interior chamber (4) to receive the explosive gasses generated by said blast, one or a plurality of vent holes (3) communicating with said interior chamber and a sacrificial exterior vent door (5) or the like, adapted to deploy open or to dissipate said explosive gasses applied to the interior of said safe and conduited to the said interior chamber wherein said exterior vent door is positioned remote from said vent holes so as to prevent direct access to said safe upon deployment.
Abstract:
Safe comprising a body (10, 210, 310, 410) having walls which define a compartment and an opening (17, 417); a door (20, 320, 420) which is mounted to the body and linearly displaceable between a closed position, in which the opening is covered and an open position, in which the opening is not covered by the door; and a lock (30, 430) for allowing the door to be locked in the closed position. The body comprises at least one guide rail (41, 42, 241, 341, 441, 442), which together with at least one of said walls (16, 210, 312, 316, 416) define a guide slot (43, 44, 344, 443, 444) which receives an edge portion (22, 23, 322, 422, 423) of said door for holding and guiding the door during said linear displacement. The lock is mounted to the door and comprises a linearly displaceable dead-bolt (32, 432) which, in a locked position, engages a dead-bolt receiving recess (41b, 370, 418d) arranged in the body. The door (20, 420) is, at one edge (21, 421), which is not received in a guide slot, provided with first engagement means (21b, 21c, 421b, 421c), which in the closed position engages an end portion (41a, 42a, 441a, 442a) of at least one guide rail (41, 42, 441, 442)
Abstract:
A security door has a door frame with an opening style and an opposing closing style, a door with an inside face and an outside face mounted on offset hinges supported by the frame so as to permit swing and slide motion. The closing style (4) has a vertical row of slots and a multiple hooked locking member (110) mounted on the inside of the door is lifted by the handle (52) which opens and closes the door, in order to drop the hooks into the slots(l 12) when the door is closed. This resists prying forces applied between the door and the frame. A conventional lock (34) is operated by keypad (36), horizontal hooks (48) act on the upstanding rail (18).
Abstract:
A gun safe (10) including a lock mechanism (30) that is mounted to a body (12) of the safe is provided. The locking mechanism (30) operates to selectively couple the safe's door (14) to the body (12). The locking mechanism (30) includes a locking plate (40) rotatably coupled with the body (12), upper and lower lock bars (42, 44) pivotally coupled with the locking plate (40), upper and lower lock bar guides (46, 48) positioned to slidably receive a portion of the upper and lower lock bars (42, 44). Upper and lower door lock brackets (80, 82) are mounted to the safe's door (14) and receive the flanges (60, 66) on the upper and lower lock bars (42, 44) to selectively couple the door (14) to the body (12). Further, a central door bracket (78) is mounted to the door (14) to receive the locking plate (40) and thereby couple the door (14) to the body (12). Also, a user access location (49) of the locking mechanism (30) is positioned approximately 36 inches from a bottom wall of the body (12).
Abstract:
A secure enclosure (10) for an automated banking machine includes a chest portion (12) and a moveable door (14). The door has mounted thereon a locking bolt work mechanism (24) which is operable to secure the door. The bolt work mechanism includes a drive cam (40). The drive cam is able to be locked in a predetermined position by engagement with a member (35) of a lock (34). The drive cam is connected to an idler cam (50) by a cam link (52). The drive cam is also connected to a locking bolt (60) by a drive bolt link (54). The idler cam is also connected to the locking bolt by an idler bolt link (56). Movement of the drive cam enables movement of the locking bolt between extended and retracted positions.
Abstract:
A safe locking/unlocking system for providing a service of acting cash management inexpensively for the user so as to avoid danger of when the user delivers the cash of the amount of sales to a financial institution, comprising a safe terminal provided with a locking means 16 for locking an opening/closing unit 12, an imaging means 10 for imaging an operator, a communication means 24 for transmitting the information on the image produced by the imaging means along with safe terminal identification information to a management device 30, and a control means 20 for controlling the locking/unlocking of the locking means 16 depending on a permission signal transmitted from the management device and the management device 30 for identifying the operator specified by the image information transmitted from the safe terminal as a registered operator on the basis of the sate terminal identification information and transmitting an unlocking permission or a locking permission to the safe terminal if the operator is a registered one.
