The present invention relates to a multi-layer fluid delivery device for post-installation in-situ barrier creation. The device provides a medium for post-installation injection of remedial substances such as waterproofing polymeric resins or cementitious materials, insecticides, mold preventatives, rust retardants and the like. The device comprises a first layer and a second layer, with optionally an intermediate layer therebetween, and a plurality of tubes extending outwardly from the first layer. The first layer is preferably semipermeable; the second layer is non-permeable; the optional intermediate layer is a void-inducing layer. The multi-layered device is attached to a structural substrate and a construction material such as concrete or shotcrete is applied against its surface (and around the plurality of tubes). Thereafter, a free flowing active substance can be injected through the tubes to fill the air space in the multi-layered device.

An apparatus for deployment of a protective net for lining tunnel ceilings or tunnel walls, comprising: a first telescopic element for holding a roll of protective net for lining tunnel ceilings or tunnel walls, said roll of protective net having an end portion; a second telescopic element for supporting an extended protective net for lining tunnel ceilings or tunnel walls; a third telescopic element for fixing the end portion of said roll of protective net for lining tunnel ceilings or tunnel walls; wherein said first, second and third telescopic elements are assembled together on a stand and extendable to position the protective net onto the tunnel section.

Bei einem Verfahren zum Auskleiden von Tunnelwänden bzw. Tunneldecken mit Schutznetzen oder ähnlichem wird bahnförmiges Schutznetzmaterial (8) von einer Rolle (7) abgewickelt und mittels Ankerbolzen an den Tunnelwänden bzw. Tunneldecke befestigt. Die Rolle (7) ist drehbeweglich angeordnet und wird zum Abwickeln des Schutznetzmaterials (8) die Drehbewegung der Rolle (7) um eine Achse (30) gesteuert, wobei die Achse (30) mit der Rolle (7) maschinell in Schritten entlang der Tunnelwände bzw. Tunneldecke bewegt wird. Das im jeweiligen Schritt abgewickelte Schutznetzmaterial (8) wird vorzugsweise gespannt und maschinell befestigt. Die diese Prozesse durchführenden Personen sind damit keiner unmittelbaren Gefahr ausgesetzt und damit lässt sich aber gleichsam dieses Auskleiden beschleunigen.

In order to place sheetings (15) on tunnel walls (3), a device (1) is used that, together with the sheeting supply (5), carries along a melting device (7, 8) for hot-melt-type adhesive during a placing movement. The device comprises a displacing device (4), which has an arm (12), can be displaced in a horizontally parallel manner on the supporting structure, and which can pivot about a pivot axis (11). This enables sheetings to be easily placed on tunnel walls.

A method and system for applying a liner material to a contoured surface, such as an exposed rock face in an underground hard rock mine, is disclosed. Locations of a plurality of spatially distributed surface grid points on the contoured surface may be detected so as to generate a representative topographical profile of the contoured surface. Based on the plurality of surface grid points, a spray path for a liner application device configured to emit a spray of the liner material may be determined. In some cases, the spray path may have a trajectory that follows the topographical profile of the contoured surface offset therefrom within a spray range of the liner application device. Liner material may then be sprayed onto the contoured surface while controlling the liner application device to undertake at least one pass of the spray path.

In a method for lining tunnel walls or ceilings with protective nets or the like, web-shaped protective net material (8) is unwound from a reel (7) and is fastened to the tunnel walls or ceiling by means of tie bolts. The reel (7) is rotatably arranged. The rotation of the reel (7) about a shaft (30) is controlled in order to unwind the protective net material (8), the shaft (30) being mechanically moved in steps along the tunnel walls or ceiling together with the reel (7). The protective net material (8) unwound in each step is preferably stretched and mechanically fastened. The individuals carrying out said processes are thus not exposed to any direct risk, while the lining process can be accelerated.

Zum Verlegen von Folienbahnen (15) an Tunnelwandungen (3) wird eine Vorrichtung (1) eingesetzt, die bei der Verlegebewegung eine Schmelzeinrichtung (7, 8) für Schmelzklebstoff zusammen mit dem Folienvorrat (5) mitführt. Die Vorrichtung weist einen an einer Tragstruktur (6) horizontal parallel verfahrbaren und um eine Schwenkachse (11) schwenkbare Bewegungseinrichtung (4) mit einem Arm (12) auf. Auf diese Weise lassen sich Folienbahnen einfach an Tunnelwandungen verlegen.

A guideway (21), on which a placing truck (2) can travel, is located on a running gear (1) in the form of a portal truck. Said placing truck (2) comprises an unrolling device (24) for the sealing films (3) and a device (6, 7) for applying the adhesive. Said adhesive is a hot-melt adhesive which is stored in a storage container (11) and heated. A working reservoir (10) is arranged on the placing truck (2) and is moved with the same. The working reservoir (10) can be linked to the storage mechanism (11) in the starting position of the placing truck (2) and is filled with adhesive for a work cycle in this position. This arrangement eliminates the need for long adhesive lines and reduces the risk of damage. The storage container (11) can be changed during the film (3) placing process.
