A driver is disclosed for driving a screw, the driver including a driver shaft and an engagement portion at a distal end of the shaft, the engagement portion configured to locate in a receiving cavity of a head of a screw, the direction of elongation of the driver shaft defining a driver axis. The engagement portion of the driver comprises a first engagement part and a second engagement part, the first and second engagement parts being relatively rotatable about the driver axis such as to move between: a first rotational position in which the engagement portion is locatable in the receiving cavity; and a second rotational position which, when the engagement portion is located in the receiving cavity, secures the driver to the screw. A screw for use with the driver is also disclosed, which screw can have a receiving cavity with one or more undercut regions.

In combination, an attachment bolt assembly and a portable manway hinge for assembly to a manway flange and a manway cover where the attachment bolt assembly has an attachment bolt and a removable retaining pin in which the attachment bolt is configured for insertion into a manway flange opening through a corresponding manway cover opening and a corresponding hinge plate opening of the manway hinge in order to retain a hinge plate of the portable manway hinge against the outside back surface of the manway flange with the removable retaining pin transversely disposed through a transverse opening in a distal hinge portion end of the attachment bolt.

Abstract A fitting for a rock bolt is disclosed that includes a first passage portion extending from a leading end that is arranged to engage with an end of the rock bolt shaft, a second passage portion extending from the trailing end, the second passage portion being spaced from the first passage portion in the direction of the fitting axis. At least one outlet extends in the body to an external surface of the fitting, the at least one outlet being in fluid communication with the second passage portion. A rock bolt assembly including the fitting and a sleeve extending around the rock bolt shaft is also disclosed. The fitting allows grout (or other fluid) to be introduced through to the rock bolt via the second passage portion and the at least one outlet.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kombination aus einem Schraubendreher und einer bzw. mehreren Schrauben (5) unterschiedlichen Durchmessers sowie die Schraube (5) als solches. Die Erfindung schlägt vor, den Schraubendreher mit einem querschnittsgestuften Vierkant oder dgl. zu einem Drehantrieb der Schraube (5) auszubilden. Die Schraube (5) weist einen querschnittsgestuften Innenvierkant (8) oder dgl. auf, dessen Stufen (9) zwecks Drehantrieb kongruent zu zwei der Stufen des Vierkants des Schraubendrehers sind. Ein Aufnahmeraum (10) mit der Form eines Kreiszylinders am Grund der Ausnehmung (7) der Schraube (5) nimmt die kleineren Stufen des Vierkants des Schraubendrehers auf.

The raised recess sinks into the back surface of a workpiece fastened to the framing members so that the workpiece may sit flat against the member.

A driver bit or wrench and screw combination wherein the arrangement of the front end of a driver bit or wrench tip edge is improved to make it possible to effectively prevent the come-out phenomenon of said bit or wrench and the arrangement of the portion of an applicable screw abutted by the front end of said tip edge is likewise improved to develop a screw holding function, whereby the proper and quick screw tightening operation is always achieved and the operating efficiency is greatly improved, wherein the front end of a polygonal tip edge is provided with a cylindrical projecting portion forming a circle inscribed in a polygon, the front end surface of this cylindrical projecting portion being in the form of a conical protrusion, a projection is locked in the central portion of said conical protrusion, an extension edge is provided which is formed with a vertical wall vertically extending from said tip edge, the screw head is centrally formed with a polygonal hole defined by a substantially vertical wall surface extending to a required depth, and a conical bottom surface is formed which extends from the lower end of this vertical wall surface toward the center of the screw head; thus, the driver bit or wrench is suitable for use with such screw with a polygon socket head.
