Abstract:
A method for providing a dismantling groove in an element for a product to be assembled by a plurality of elements locked by a locking arrangement including a flexible tongue is disclosed. The method includes providing an insertion groove and a dismantling groove in the same element. The dismantling groove extends along the element between a first side and a second side and is configured for receiving the flexible tongue of the locking arrangement for locking the element to another element having a tongue groove. The dismantling groove is provided in the element such that it extends from the first side to the insertion groove and along a portion of the insertion groove, and is configured to receive a dismantling tool for dismantling the element from the other element. An element with an insertion groove and a dismantling groove is also disclosed.
Abstract:
The present invention includes an interlock having an elongate male plug and elongate female socket. The socket has an open rectangular cross-section with a receiving cavity designed to receive and ensleeve the plug, which also has a rectangular cross-section. The socket includes a back wall, top wall, bottom wall, and discontinuous front wall creating an upper and lower flange with an opening existing between the free ends of the flanges. The bottom, top, and back walls are planar in shape providing three planes on which the socket can mate to a planar portion of a structure, such as a sheet pile. The plug includes a flange-contacting surface with a pile receipt disposed inwardly from the flange-contacting surface. The inwardly set pile receipt allows an end of a plate to be secured to the plug within the outer perimeter of the plug resulting in obstruction free flange-contacting surface.
Abstract:
Floor covering comprising a plurality of unit panels (1) laid in a pattern, these panels being provided on their head sides (2, 3) and on their longitudinal sides (4, 5) with locking strips (6, 7) which engage with one another in the assembled position in which unit panels (1) are arranged adjacently within a covering, wherein grooves (19, 20) are provided in the head sides (2, 3) and wherein the grooves (19, 20) of two abutting head sides (2, 3) correspond and form a locking channel (21) intended to accommodate a head tongue (22, 22a-k). The head tongue (22) is preassembled in the groove (20) and projects beyond an end of the groove (20) that faces the longitudinal side (5) of the unit panel (1). At the same time, the head tongue (22) in the preassembled state is embedded completely within the groove (20) and can be displaced at least partially from one groove (20) into the corresponding groove (19) of the adjacent unit panel (1) by sliding the projecting end (24) of the head tongue (22) into the groove (20).
Abstract:
The invention concerns a device for assembling longitudinal edges of panels, laths or wainscots (1), consisting of at least a male part (2) equipping a longitudinal edge of said panels, laths or wainscots (1) and of at least a female part (3) with matching shape provided on the other longitudinal edge of said panels, laths or wainscots (1). Said device is characterised in that it provides force distribution and the longitudinal edges bearing the male (2) and female (3) parts extend along parallel oblique planes. The invention is particularly suited for the building sector, in particular for floor covering, wall sheathing and ceiling panelling, particularly in the form of panels, laths or wainscots of different materials, such as wood, skin materials, synthetic materials.
Abstract:
A partitioned planar structure consisting of a matrix of elongate cylindrical longitudinal (1) and transverse (2) members joined together in pairs. The structure is characterised in that the longitudinal (1) and transverse (2) members consist of hollow profile members, the longitudinal profile members (1) have a series of main transverse recesses (3) for receiving the respective transverse profile members (2), as well as a series of secondary transverse recesses (7), the transverse profile members (2) have at least one groove (9) facing the secondary transverse recess (7) of one longitudinal member (1) when it is positioned in one of the main transverse recesses (3), thus defining a channel (12) with a predetermined cross section, and locking members (11) having a cross section with the same shape and size as for said channel (12) are engageable therein.
Abstract:
Elastical member (4, 14) and a method to apply this into a conduit (3, 13) with an open or a closed cross-section, at which the elastical member (4, 14) adapted in the conduit is brought to exert forces at a right angle upon the walls of the conduit (3, 13), and to remove the elastical member (4, 14) from the conduit (3, 13), so that its exerting of forces upon the walls is abolished, at which a pulling force is attached in the longitudinal direction of the elastical member (4, 14) causing an increased stress by which a tension will be caused in its longitudinal direction and a contraction will be caused in its cross-direction, so that the cross-section of the elastical member (4, 14) will be smaller than the cross-section of the conduit (3, 13), and by which the elastical member (4, 14) can be brought into, respectively out from the conduit (3, 13) with no or a low friction against the walls of the conduit (3, 13).
Abstract:
The coupling system has two essentially identical, opposite profiles (1), each of which has a hole (3) and an extension (2) in front thereof so that said extension (2) fits into the hole of the opposite profile. Once coupled, a central core (7) is inserted that prevents separation of the two elements. The coupling system can be used in industrial applications to couple all types of parts having a coupling surface.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a modular unit consisting of two building components (1, 2) having joint surfaces (3, 4) arranged in pairs to be fastened with rivets. In order to ensure perfect meeting of the pairs of joint surfaces, there is a pair of bearing surfaces designed in such a way that, upon exerting a supporting force thereon, a force component is generated through the assembling joints (3, 4).
Abstract:
The panel is constructed of railings, infill members and a connecting member (16). The connecting member has an intermediate portion (17), two side walls (19, 20) and forward facing webs (25, 30). The webs (25, 30) terminate in channels (27, 30) and end flanges (26, 32). The connectors are designed to connect with a device of opposite hand on an adjacent panel by lateral movement of the panels towards each other.
