Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a burner, comprising a generally cylindrical reactor chamber (1) comprising a housing (1') having a proximal end (1p) and a distal end (1d). In the distal end of the reactor chamber (1) there is provided a catalyst (4). A fuel inlet (7) is provided in the proximal end of the reactor chamber. There are also a plurality of air inlets (22, 23; 24) arranged in the reactor wall at the proximal end. The inlets are configured to provide a rotating flow of the air injected into the reactor chamber. There is also provided a flow homogenizer (8; 30) extending over the cross-section of the reactor chamber at a position between the fuel inlet (7) and the catalyst (4).
Abstract:
The invention relates to an internal combustion burner that comprises a combustion chamber (2) supplied with fuel and oxidant, and at least two combustion devices (3a, 3b) supplied with oxidant and fuel. The combination of the two combustion devices, having different configurations for respectively generating two different types of flames, and of a burner-wall cooling system (24, 25) with air supply along said walls, results in a burner capable of providing a combustion gas temperature of up to 1700°C that can easily be cooled and has sufficiently small dimensions to be housed, in particular, in existing equipment for making rock or glass wool.
Abstract:
A burner (1) for an industrial oven of the non-regenerative type comprises: a burner body (2), a combustion chamber (3) into which a fuel means and air are introduced, first introducing means (13) for introducing the fuel means into the combustion chamber (3), second introducing means (10) for introducing the air into the body (2), through an opening (9) of the body (2), passage interspace means (6, 7) that define a path for the air extending from the opening (9) to the combustion chamber (3). The burner further comprises protruding means (15) that extends from the body (2) and is intended to project to a firing chamber (C) of the oven in such a manner that an outer wall (16) of the protruding means (15) is intended to be adjacent to a hot wall (26) of the oven, wherein the passage interspace means (6, 7) is made in the protruding means (15) in such a manner that at least one portion (6) of the passage interspace means (6, 7) is adjacent to the outer wall (16).
Abstract:
The present invention describes a new device for controlling the radial temperature profile of a stream of gas intended to be used as a heat transfer fluid in an exchanger situated downstream of the said device.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A burner (1) comprising a burner body (2), a combustion chamber (3) into which a fuel means and air are introduced, first introducing means (13) for introducing said fuel means into said combustion chamber, second introducing means (10) for introducing said air into said body (2), through an opening (9) of said body (2); between the burner body (2) and a first section (3a) of said combustion chamber (3) an intermediate hollow body (5) is interposed, surrounding, for at least a portion of the length thereof, said first section (3a).
