Abstract:
This invention relates to a cup enabling the cooling of any kind of fizzy or unfizzy, alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages by using ice cubes, but meanwhile, enabling the consumption of the beverage without spoiling the taste and, more importantly, sanitarily (hygienically). The inner cup (1) comprises a inner cup mouth (8) enabling it to fit onto any kind of a disposable outer cup (2), wherein the inner cup bottom (5) has a conical form.
Abstract:
Exemplary embodiments are generally directed to beverage chillers for chilling a hot beverage so that the hot beverage can be served as a chilled beverage in real time on demand fashion. The beverage chillers include a beverage collection section, a heat exchanger section, and a dispensing section fluidically connected relative to each other. The beverage collection section receives a beverage in a hot state. The heat exchanger section chills the beverage from the hot state to a predetermined chilled temperature. The dispensing section dispenses the beverage at or near the predetermined chilled temperature. Exemplary embodiments are also directed to methods and systems for chilling a hot beverage in real time on demand fashion.
Abstract:
The subject of the invention is an ice lid for a drinking vessel, the ice lid formed of the ice cubes to be mixed in the beverage in the drinking vessel and a support structure for keeping the ice cubes together. It is characteristic of the ice lid that it is designed such that it stays in place on top of the drinking vessel. Additionally, the subject of the invention is a mold for producing the ice lid as well as a drinking storage system that comprises the drinking vessel and the ice lid.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a bottle which includes at least two compartments, at least one side wall, at least one passage between the compartments and characterised in that the passage is configured to constrict under pressure to restrict fluid transfer between the compartments, wherein the passage is formed as a consequence of the gap created by two opposing concave panels in the side wall of the bottle. A method of filling the bottle is also claimed.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention provides a cooling device for a beverage which includes a container which is attachable to a beverage container, into which is placed a coolant substance, and which has an inlet formation, an outlet formation and a channel former which, when disposed in the container and appropriately orientated, extends from the inlet formation to the outlet formation.
Abstract:
A beverage cooler carton (10) is intended to receive ice (I) or other cooling means. The carton (10) is made of a material which is impervious to liquid, which may be contained within the carton (10) during use. The carton (10) includes folding end panels (8) which extend continuously between adjacent upper and lower panels (12, 20). There are no seams or breaks in the material around a periphery of the carton (10) which might degrade the ability of the carton (10) to hold a liquid. There is also disclosed is a method of assembling the carton (10).
Abstract:
The invention comprises an outer contianer (12) for holding the ice and an inner container (13) for containing the beverage that can be positioned inside the outer container. The inner (13) and outer (12) containers have various engaging surfaces (4, 6) which allow them to be sealed together in a particular manner.
Abstract:
An Apparatus is provided for cooling a carbonated beverage stored in a container (14) and dispensing non-foamed carbonated beverage. A method of cooling and delivering non-foamed beverage with the apparatus is also provided. The beverage is preferably beer. The apparatus comprises a housing (16, 110) that has a number of chambers. A chamber can optionally be provided for receiving a number of beer kegs. A pressurizing device (30) is attached to a beer keg (14) for maintaining the beer under pressure in the keg. A conduit is received in one of the chambers and communicates between the beer keg and a tap (18) located on the exterior of the apparatus. A water and ice cooling mixture is circulated over the conduit (40) in the same chamber for cooling the conduit. A perforated vessel (50) surrounds the conduit to protect the conduit and the agitators from being damaged by ice particles. At least two agitators (60, 62) for circulating the cooling fluid over the conduit are located in chamber where the conduit is received. The agitators are positioned to continuously circulate cold water over the conduit for maximum heat exchange.
