A vibratory dryer (250) includes a conveying surface (258) over which a bed of materials to be dried is conveyed, the surface having an inlet end (254) and an outlet end (256), and passages through which air passes through the conveying surface to pass through the bed of materials on the conveying surface, a source of heated air coupled to the passages to supply heated air to the bed through the passages, and a vibration generator (290) coupled to the conveying surface. The dryer also includes at least one rotary mixer (320) having an impeller (324) spaced from the conveying surface at a distance so as to be disposed within the bed, the at least one rotary mixer disposed along the length of the conveying surface between the inlet end and the outlet end. The at least one rotary mixer is adapted to provide uplift within the bed without de-densification of the bed.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a drying device and method for drying a pumpable mixture. Such a mixture is for instance a manure or industrial effluent. The drying device according to the invention comprises: a supply holder for holding the mixture; a drivable endless carrier extending with an outer end into the supply holder during use, wherein drying medium flows during use through or along the mixture carried along by the carrier; and heating means for heating the ingoing mixture and/or the mixture in the supply holder.
Abstract:
The invention provides methods to efficiently reduce the water concentration of raw solid fuels, including low rank coals such as brown coal, lignite, subbituminous coal, and other carbonaceous solids. Efficiently drying these materials at low temperatures significantly reduces greenhouse gas emissions and allows the production of low-rank coals for gasification and liquifaction.

The invention relates to a system for heating and otherwise treating work in a production system for mechanical products such as motors, and also relates to a production system including this system, adapted to reduce the line stock, keep the cleanliness, and reduce the installation space, the system comprising conveyors 41a, 41b disposed in an oven 40 capable of storing a plurality of workpieces 2 and conveying the workpieces 2 to the feed side or delivery side within this oven 40, and a controller for controlling the conveyors 41a, 41b, wherein the conveyors 41a, 41b are actuated for each workpiece 2 and the workpieces 2 are individually controlled within the oven 40 as to their heat treated conditions. The conveyors 41a, 41b have a work driver 43, which is their driving mechanism, positioned outside the oven 40, and the working end 41a alone for holding the workpieces 2 is disposed for entry into the oven 40.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum automatisierten Betreiben einer Trocknungsanlage, bei dem ein Trocknungsgut einem Trocknungsraum der Trocknungsanlage zugeführt wird und diesen Trocknungsraum durchläuft, bei dem eine Steuereinheit bei einer Unterbrechung in einer Zuführung des Trocknungsgutes zum Trocknungsraum innerhalb eines von einer planmäßigen Durchlaufzeit des Trocknungsgutes durch den Trocknungsraum abhängigen Zeitintervalls prüft, ob die Zuführung des Trocknungsgutes zum Trocknungsraum fortgesetzt wird, wobei dieses Zeitintervall mit demjenigen Zeitpunkt zu laufen beginnt, in dem die Steuereinheit die Unterbrechung in der Zuführung des Trocknungsgutes zum Trocknungsraum erkennt.

A dryer (100A) includes a housing (102,104) and a woven wire belt conveyor assembly that extends through a drying chamber of the dryer. The woven wire belt is trained around a drive drum and a tensioning drum. To support the woven wire belt, there is provided a plurality of removable rollers or supports that engage the woven wire belt and support the same as the woven wire belt is driven through the drying chamber.
