The driving star (11) is used for driving the tens disc (6) and the blocking star (12) is used to maintain the proper orientation of the tens disc.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device which is suitable for integration into a timepiece, in particular in the form of a timepiece module, another type of watch module or a basic watch movement, wherein the device comprises at least one opening, in each of which an associated image guide is mounted, and for each of these image guides the device comprises means for fastening the image guide in the associated opening, such that the image guide allows display information displayed on a representation plane to be reproduced on a display plane. The present invention further relates to a corresponding timepiece equipped with such a device.
Abstract:
A timepiece having a display for displaying a digit provided on a ring which itself has a plurality of digits provided thereon, wherein the timepiece comprises an integrated circuit operable in at least (i) a date display mode and (ii) a counting mode; a gearing assembly comprising one or more wheels, being meshingly coupled to the ring so that the rotation of the one or more wheels causes the rotation of the ring; a motor, the motor rotateably coupled to the at least one or more wheels of the gearing assembly, wherein the motor has a rotatable member such that the rotation thereof causes the ring to rotate; and mode selecting means for selecting between at least the date display mode and the counting mode; wherein when in the date display mode the ring rotates at a first rate and when in the counting mode the ring rotates at a second rate different from the first rate.

Abstract:
A timepiece with a date display comprises two supports (20, 30), for example discs or rings, which are superposed, each bearing a series of marks (40, 50) in an annular arrangement, one of them bearing marks (50) 0 to 9 that form the units of the dates and the other bearing marks (40) 0 to 3 forming the tens, these being arranged in such a way that the respective marks (40, 50) are juxtaposed to indicate the day of the month (70), characterized in that said marks (40, 50) are arranged non uniformly, so that the angular separation formed between the start of one mark (40, 50) and the start of the next mark (40, 50) varies from one mark to another, the marks (50) 0 to 9 forming the units being separated by an angle which varies from around 33° between the marks 0 and 1 to around 38.5° between the marks 2 and 1, the marks (40) 0 to 3 forming the tens being duplicated (0, 0; 1, 1; 2, 2; 3, 3) and being separated by an angle that varies from around 41° between the marks 1 and 0 up to around 48° between the marks 2 and 1. The timepiece further comprises a mechanism for driving said discs and/or rings (20, 30) in uniform angular steps of around 36° per day in the case of the disc/ring (30) bearing the marks (50) forming the units and around 45° every five days in the case of the disc/ring (20) bearing the marks (40) forming the tens.
Abstract:
Abstract:
An electronic device comprising a controller having an integrated circuit operable in at least a first and second mode, and a dial (20) having a window (22) through which at least one indicator is visible, wherein the electronic device comprises a mode indicator (30) positioned on an actuation mechanism side of the dial, wherein the mode indicator (30) has at least a first indicator and a second indicator each respectively representative of one of the at least two modes within which the electronic device is operable; a gearing assembly comprising one or more wheels, being meshingly coupled to the mode indicator so that the rotation of the one or more wheels causes the rotation of the mode indicator; an actuation mechanism, rotateably coupled to the at least one or more wheels of the gearing assembly, wherein the rotation of the actuation mechanism causes the rotation of the mode indicator; wherein the integrated circuit controls the actuation of the actuation mechanism so as to initiate the rotation of the mode indicator; and actuation means, operatively coupled to the controller, for selecting the mode within which the integrated circuit is operable, wherein the mode within which the integrated circuit is operating is visible through the window (22) in the dial (20); wherein the mode in which the integrated circuit is operating is indicated by the indicator visible in the window.
Abstract:
The global timepiece (10) comprises a transparent disk (22) arranged overhead the face (14) which comprises a New Day Line (34) extending radially from the center outward to an indice indicating midnight. The disk (22) is operationally connected to a rotatable shaft (38) or other drive mechanism by which it is moving 360° in clockwise direction within 24 hours. The disk (22) comprises an International Date Line indicia (44) and time zone indicia represented by cities or areas or marks representing a time zone geographically located within each corresponding time zone. Two windows (36) for the indication of two successive dates are cut into the face (14). These windows (36) are aligned astride the New Day Line (34). A wheel (35) is arranged beneath these windows (36) and is moving counterclockwise and indicates on its circumferential top area the dates (1 to 31). By this wheel (25), the timepiece shows two successive dates in the windows (36) and which world locations are in which date.
