Abstract:
A computer-implemented method of providing an activity sponsorship environment includes providing a computer-implemented platform establishing a sponsorship junction involving, in case 1, a first set of trigger- monitorable activities defined by a set of audience providers or, in case 2, a second set of trigger-monitorable activities defined by a set of sponsoring organizers, or, in case 3, both the first set and the second set of trigger- monitorable activities.
Abstract:
In a general aspect, a computer-implemented method can include receiving, at a computing device, a beacon signal including a vending device identifier and sending, to a cloud-based vending service, the vending device identifier. The method can further include receiving, from the cloud-based vending service, an indication of at least one product available for purchase from the vending device and receiving, at the computing device, an indication of a selected product of the at least one product available for purchase. The method can also include sending, to the cloud based service, a request to purchase the selected product and receiving, from the cloud-based vending service, a purchase token for the selected product. The method can still further include sending, to the vending device, the purchase token and receiving, from the vending device, an acknowledgment that the purchase token has been used to purchase the selected product.
Abstract:
Embodiments of systems, methods, and devices are disclosed for enabling wireless mobile devices to be automatically detected and used as fare media on vehicles in a transit and/or transportation system. Embodiments include detecting a wireless mobile device and utilizing a unique identifier of the wireless mobile device to track a transit user's entry to and exit from a transit vehicle. Embodiments further include causing the wireless mobile device to display a fare payment indicator, allowing the transit user to use the wireless mobile device to show proof of payment if so solicited by a fare inspector. A corresponding fare can be calculated and paid for in a variety of ways.
Abstract:
The present disclosure is directed to a system and method for generating, securely storing, retrieving, and processing sales receipts for the purchase of goods and services using any convenient method of payment. All buyer purchases are linked to their receipt account or account. The method includes the generation of both physical and electronic receipts with any receipt being readily identifiable by a purchaser, seller, credit card issuer, employer, financial institution, or other party or entity having a need to access the receipt and information included on it. The system and method also utilize a taxonomy to characterize attributes of purchase receipts and employs and an analytics capability useful by buyers, sellers, and third parties.
Abstract:
A method of delivering a digital receipt relating to a transaction to a user, the method comprising, at a server,: receiving transaction related data from a point of sale system, the transaction related data having been intercepted in a data communications path between a point of sale terminal and a peripheral device; analysing transaction related data to extract user identification data; querying a user data module using extracted user identification data to determine user preferences relating to delivery of digital receipts; generating the digital receipt in dependence on the determined user preferences and the received transaction related data; outputting the digital receipt.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for interaction-based validation of electronic tickets. In some embodiments, the system renders a first visually illustrative scene on an interactive display screen of a mobile device, the first visually illustrative scene responsive to a pre-determined gesture performed at a predetermined location on the interactive display screen. Upon a user interacting with the first visually illustrative scene, an app on the user's mobile device extracts user interaction information. In response to determining that the user interaction information matches with a pre-determined gesture performed at the predetermined location, the system renders a second visually illustrative scene on the interactive display screen of the mobile device.
Abstract:
A method includes receiving a request to fulfill a self-service deposit transaction on an ATM including an image scanner, the ATM connected over a network to a host device, scanning a deposit media to generate an image of the deposit media, detecting an exception in relation to the deposit transaction, generating a deposit transaction data record comprising the image and a transaction summary, and transmitting the deposit transaction data record for access by the host device enabling resolution of the exception and reconciliation of the deposit transaction.
Abstract:
A method, apparatus and computer software are disclosed, with obtaining from a backend (130) cryptographic information configured to enable digital inspection of whether credential information shows a valid digital ticket; and sending the received cryptographic information to a digital ticket inspection member (142) for verifying of validity of credential information of user devices (110) by the digital inspection member (142) or causing receiving of credential information from the digital inspection member (142) and verifying of validity of the credential information.
Abstract:
Methods and terminals for processing e-tickets are provided. The terminal can include a saving module, a parsing module, and a voice reading module. The e-ticket can be obtained by a terminal. The terminal can parse contents of the e-ticket to generate ticket information of the e-ticket by triggering a reading button to call an internal program. The ticket information can be converted by the terminal into a voice message corresponding to the e-ticket. The voice message can be played by the terminal to read the ticket information of the e-ticket.
