A method for security and/or automation systems is described. In one embodiment, the method includes integrating, via a processor of a first computing device, a secure delivery option in relation to a checkout interface of a point of sale (POS) system. In some cases, the method includes receiving, via the processor, an input to enable the secure delivery option in relation to an order being placed via the checkout interface, generating, via the processor, an access code for the order based at least in part on enabling the secure delivery option, and enabling, via the processor, access to a premises via the access code generated for the order.
Abstract:
A post detection unit (20) is disclosed for detecting content of a postbox (10). The post detection unit (20) comprises an image capturing unit (21) for capturing images of the interior (14) of the postbox. The image capturing unit (21) is arranged to capture a first image of the interior of the postbox before or during opening of the postbox, and to capture a second image of the interior of the postbox at closing of the postbox. Thereby an analysis of the first and the second image is enabled for detecting a difference between the first and the second image. Such a difference would represent a change in the content of the postbox. A corresponding method for detecting content of a postbox is also disclosed.

A method may include purchasing at least one product of a plurality of products wherein each product is located at a respective associated product location in a store that sells the plurality of products and a point of sale of each purchased product corresponds to the respective associated product location.

An automated device for automatically and without any human intervention, receiving into the device articles to be distributed or sold, storing the articles, and then distributing or selling the articles to users/customers. The store includes within a housing an entry means for controlling entry into the housing of a plurality of closed shipping containers. Also within the housing is an automated forming means for forming an opening in each of the plurality of the shipping containers, a storing means for storing the plurality of opened shipping containers inside a storage area of the housing, a computer controlled retrieving means for entering into selected ones of the opened shipping so as to retrieve an article from inside one of the stored opened shipping containers and further including moving means for moving the retrieved articles to an output of the housing. Such an automated device allows for new methods of operation of the automatic device, with respect to agreements between parties that distribute or sell articles to users or customers. Furthermore, such an automated device allows is particularly well suited for being implemented in a modular arrangement.

Secure Home Delivery SystemA system for providing secure delivery or collection of goods too large to be delivered through traditional apertures such as the letterbox, to a location, such as a home, where the goods have previously been remotely ordered using remote means such as the internet or telephone. Access to a secure location, for example, a dedicated receptacle, garage or shed, is achieved by presentation of an access code by the delivery personnel, the origin of which is linked to the order of the goods. The access code may be computed using time-based algorithms that are replicated by the lock at the delivery location, unlocking occurring when the access codes coincide. The lock can provide access to a key safe, which in turns holds keys to a secure location. The system could equally be used for the collection of goods and for providing access to utility meters.

A movable body control system capable of properly calculating the utilization fee of a movable body to be rented according to the state of utilization so that the movable body can be utilized flexibly and effectively, wherein each of the vehicles such as bicycles and cars comprises a GPS function and detects the current position thereof for each specified time interval and transmits the information showing the detected current position to an operating company to administrate the current position of each vehicle, the measurement of a riding distance and a riding time are started when each of the vehicles such as bicycles is rented to a member and utilized and, when the utilization is completed, the measured riding distance and riding time are transmitted to the server device of the operating company, and the server device of the operating company calculates and settles the utilization fee according to the transmitted riding distance and riding time.
