Abstract:
The security and alarm system of the type comprising at least one control and management unit, at least one sensor and at least one alarm indicator, in which the least one control and management unit, in turn, comprises a module for remote connection to a centralized computer exclusively accessible to the emergency service personnel, to reference the data received from the at least one control and management unit, the at least one sensor comprising image acquisition apparatuses, the centralized computer having tracing and identification means of at least one person detected by said image acquisition apparatuses based on an alarm signal received from the at least one alarm indicator.
Abstract:
A networked system of addressable alarms notifies citizens of conditions within a community. A control center is communicably linked via the network to alarm devices such as smoke detectors in controlled environments such as buildings in order to alert citizens of conditions outside of the controlled environment, which may be situations requiring an emergency response. The alarm devices may also be capable of sending local status information (e.g., fire alarms, security alarms, etc.) to the control center so that the control center can respond as necessary to any local emergencies.
Abstract:
A transceiver unit for an electronic surveillance system is internally coded with an address-number for identification within the system and is adapted to receive input from sensors detecting alarm conditions. The unit is switchable from an idle condition wherein it transmits digital data relevant to its address-number and status but does not recognize input from a sensor, to a primed condition wherein it transmits digital data relevant to its address-number and status information indicating an alarm condition. The unit is able to receive digital data from other similar units sequentially and display information relevant to the identity and status thereof. In a security system a plurality of such units communicate with each other and in turn transmit said digital data simultaneously to all the other units of the system either by hard wiring thereto, radio link or other transmission medium whereby an alarm condition detected by one unit is recognized at all other units of the system. Remote switching of a unit from idle to primed by any of the other units is disclosed.
Abstract:
A system for supervising a group of two or several localities and preferably residences. In each locality is provided a local equipment (A, B, C) having an alarm detector (2) for generating an alarm signal when a movement is sensed for example, a switch (4) for activating/inactivating the supervisory function of the equipment, a power source (PS) and means for visual (24a) and/or audial indication. Each local equipment comprises a continously activated indication device (IND) having at least one indicator means for indicating the state of supervision of the remaining localities of the group, a transmitter (21) which may be controlled by said alarm signal and which repeatedly transmits a locality signature signal to the remaining indication devices of the group and a receiver (23) for receiving said signals. The alarm signal influences the transmitter and when a correct locality signature signal is not received a corresponding indication is given in the remaining localities. In the system all local equipments have one and the same status and each equipment evaluates its own indication information independently of the remaining equipments.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for communicating in a network using share signals in accordance with various embodiments of the present disclosure are provided. In one embodiment, a method for sharing video footage captured by audio/video (A/V) recording and communication devices is provided, the method comprising: receiving from a first client device a share signal including first image data including a person of interest; receiving from a second A/V recording and communication device second image data; transmitting to a second client device, the first image data and a request to check the second image data; receiving from the second client device a locate person command signal; searching the second image data for a match of the person of interest; and when a match of the person of interest is found, generating and transmitting an alert signal that includes a notification that the person of interest was matched in the second image data.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for augmenting and sharing data from audio/video (A/V) recording and communication devices are provided. In one embodiment, a method may include receiving, from an A/V recording and communication device, image data representing an image, analyzing the image data to determine one or more objects depicted by the image data, based on the analyzing the image data, determining at least one comment associated with the one or more objects; transmitting, to a first client device associated with the A/V recording and communication device, the image data representing the image and the at least one comment, receiving, from the first client device, consent for sharing the image data with a geographic area network, the consent indicating a selection of a comment from the at least one comment, and transmitting, to a second client device, the image data representing the image and the comment.
Abstract:
This patent specification relates to apparatus, systems, methods, and related computer program products for providing home security objectives. More particularly, this patent specification relates to a plurality of devices, including intelligent, multi-sensing, network-connected devices, that communicate with each other and/or with a central server or a cloud-computing system to provide any of a variety of useful home security objectives.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a system for controlling at least one residential property in a plurality of connected residential networks. The system comprises a remote control unit arranged to control residential properties, which remote control unit via the Internet is in connection with an access network, which is provided and supported by a telecommunications operator. Each connected residential network is divided into an open branch containing content terminals, such as a personal com-puter and an interactive information terminal. Furthermore the system includes a service gateway is arranged in a secure branch of the residential network, the secure branch is provided with sub-controller means, each of which is in bi-directional connection with at least one sensor, the sub-controller means being adapted to activate various residential properties, measurement values from the sensors are trans-mitted via the sub-controller means to the service gateway, where they are compiled, and the service gateway is controlled by the remote control unit in a way that measurement values from different sensors are combined.
Abstract:
A community alarm system comprises N alarm units, each comprising: a) means for generating a warning signal indicative of an abnormal situation, such as a burglary, a fire, etc.; b) a telephone associated with the means for generating a warning signal for transmitting a generated warning signal to at least one security company; c) a transceiver means connected with the means for generating the warning signal and the telephone. Said transceiver means are arranged in a ring network and communicate at least with their direct neighbours in the ring network to ensure that a warning signal is transmitted to the security company even if the telephone associated with the means for generating a warning signal is defect or engaged.
