Abstract:
Provided is a modular display device for providing a digital representation of a blueprint. In one example, the device includes an elongated housing having an elongated opening parallel to a longitudinal axis of the housing. A core is configured to fit inside the housing in a rotatable manner. A flexible display is configured to move between one state where a majority of the flexible display is positioned inside the housing and rolled around the core and another state where a majority of the flexible display is moved out of the housing through the opening and positioned outside of the housing to form a viewing surface. A height and a width of the flexible display are sufficient to provide a 1 : 1 scale view of a drawing having dimensions defined by a drawing standard used in at least one of an architectural industry, an engineering industry, or a construction industry.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for successively changing elongated flexible objects (100-400) from an active viewable position to a non-active, non- viewable position. The device comprises a rotatable drum (1) to which the flexible objects (100-400) are attached, a motor (11) arranged for driving the rotatable drum (1) in two opposing rotational directions, and a controller unit (13) for controlling the rotational speed and direction of the motor (11). A balancing spring (16) is arranged to be preloaded when the flexible objects (100-400) are unwound from the drum (1) and to provide a lifting force when the flexible objects (100-400) are wound up on the drum (1). By arranging the balancing spring (16) with a freewheeling clutch (17) this preloading can only occur in one rotational direction whereas the balancing spring (16) is allowed to freewheel in the other direction, taking no load. By providing the elongated flexible objects (100-400) with a magnetically interactive identification strip (110) the device is able to gain highly accurate information on the position of the flexible elongated objects (100-400). By pre-attaching the flexible elongated objects (100-400) on each other and provide the identification strip (110) on the designated carrier flexible object (100) exchanging the set of flexible elongated objects is made very simple.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a display arrangement (1) that includes a stand (11) intended for securing a screen (20), where the stand includes a first part (11) which supports against an underlying supportive surface (U), and a second part (12) which extends up from the first part (11) and whose upwardly extending end portion (12a) includes a first coupling device (31) of a two-part coupling arrangement (30) whose second coupling device (32) co-acts with the screen (20), either directly or indirectly. The screen (20) can be wounded up onto and unwounded from a bobbin (40) located in a cavity in the first stand part (11), whereto with the bobbin can be actuated by a spring arrangement (50) which is adapted to act on the screen in its fully wounded state around the bobbin with a chosen torque and/or chosen initial power or force (Fa-min). The active initial power generated by the spring arrangement (50') can be generated by means of an elastic band (52') that is twisted or rotated solely in one direction between its end portions 15 (52a', 52b'), wherein said chosen initial power or force (Fa-min) relates to a large number of turns of the band (52'), such as 100 turns. It is suggested that Figure 3 is published together with the abstract.
Abstract:
The invention is a dynamic display unit in which the cumulative pitch distance of the printing on the indicia carrier is equal to that of the lenticular panel under all operating conditions. The display unit comprises a front lenticular panel comprising an array of lenses and a stretchable indicia carrier placed behind the rear side of the front panel. The unit also comprises means for rigidly engaging the edges of the indicia carrier, means for stretching the indicia carrier tightly over the entire rear side of the front panel, and means for displacing the indicia carrier relative to the lenses on the front panel without allowing the indicia carrier to stretch or contract relative to the front panel. The indicia carrier has a stretchable substrate having elastic properties and the indicia are printed on the substrate. The lines of printing initially have a pitch distance slightly less than the pitch distance of the lenses of the array on the front lenticular panel and can be made equal to the pitch distance of the lenticular panel by applying an external force to stretch the substrate.
Abstract:
A quickly replaceable painted scroll with spiral power spring, around which a painting is to be coiled, includes a scroll rotating mechanism and is disposed in a casing (9). The scroll also includes a drum (7) and two scroll caps (1, 1') at the ends of the drum (7). The drum (7) has a structure in form of hollow tube. The scroll rotating mechanism includes a spiral power spring tightening mechanism and a unidirectional self-locking mechanism which is composed of a pawl and a ratchet. The tightening mechanism is configured such that one end of a spiral power spring (4) is connected to the unidirectional self-locking mechanism and the other end to a spiral power spring box (6). The spiral power spring box (6) is mounted on one side of the scroll cap (1) at which the unidirectional self-locking mechanism is disposed.
Abstract:
A barrackers or protesters sign including a pliable sheet (25) on which a protest or barracking message is carried which sheet is extractable from a rolled storage position in which it is rolled around a roller (24) within a casing (2) to an unrolled extended display position outside of the casing and there are included resilient means in the form of a helical spring (30) arranged so that, upon release of tension between the casing and the pliable sheet by a user, the sheet is adapted to return to a rolled storage position within the casing under the influence of the resilient means.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for successively changing elongated flexible sheets or similar flexible objects from an active position to non-active positions. The said device incorporates a drum, relative to which the said sheets or similar flexible objects are fixed. The drum is rotatable. The distinguishing feature of the invention is that the drum is rotatable in two opposing rotational directions, that the rotational directions of the said drum are controlled by means of a suitable timing device in relation to the rotational speed of the motor so that rotation takes place in a first direction for such a long time that the sheet located in the active position becomes wound up onto the drum and that a second sheet, located in the said first rotational direction after the first sheet, is carried to a position from which the said second sheet is unwound from the drum to the active position, upon rotation of the said drum in the other rotational direction. Thereafter the drum is rotated in the other rotational direction for such a long time that the second sheet becomes unwound from the drum. The rotation of the drum is subsequently stopped by the suitable timing device during such a long time as is wanted in the active position for the second sheet. This timing procedure is repeated after the wanted time in the active position.
Abstract:

The display apparatus comprises transparent box-like housing containing image cards printed on paper sheets which are arranged in piles. When rotating the display apparatus by hand or by rotary unit the paper cards are displayed alternately cyclically in the viewing windows of the apparatus, creating cinematic effects. The image cards are changeable for several times in the apparatus. The display toolkit comprises computer application editor, for arranging the digital images into such arrangement that is fitted to the blank perforated sheet when printing.
