Waste container that is formed of a base part (1), a container body attached on top of it which container body comprises an outer casing (6) and a cover plate (7) attached to the upper surface of the container body in which case the cover plate comprises a gap (5) for locating the waste into the container and the container body (6), (7) comprises at least one curved surface (6) that makes the mentioned body to have a shape of a vertical cylinder which surface is meant to be a media surface for example for commercials (8) and that a transparent casing (2) is located outside the mentioned surface (6) in which case the film (8) that functions as the media surface is located between (2) the curved surface (6) and the casing. A transparent, curved casing (2) can be brought to be more curved for the changing of the media surface (8) in which case out of the length of the both side edges of the casing (2) at least a part comes out of the slot places (4) formed at the edges of the curved surface (6) so that the casing (2) can diverge from the curved surface (6).

Advertising lighting posts with multifunctional housing with interchangeable sides and elements for changing the functionality, as a new type of urban device, at the same time can be used for various purposes. The lower reinforced plate (2), posts (9) and upper plate (14) in the mounted position form the housing (1) of advertising post, with vertical passage for the installation (12) through all four vertical posts. The elements (18) for fixing the carriers (21) from the lighting panels (24) and (25) are embedded in the upper surface of the upper plate (14). The sides and with inserted acceptor form an advertising lighting post with a housing for ecological purposes, and can be also combined with interchangeable side with carrier of phone-box for public use.

More than one panel (12) may be flexurally deformed and tied together in an assembly and more than one membrane tie (24) may be present within an assembly. Panels are typically semi-rigid sheet materials, for example metal sheets, plastic sheets, or sheets of composite materials, such as glass or carbon fibre reinforced plastics or resins. Membrane tie members are typically flexible, for example plastic films, fabrics or nets or arrays of rods or cables. The assemblies have many different geometric forms and many different practical applications. Assemblies may be relatively large, for example demountable and reusable shelters or flat-pack point-of -purchase display assemblies, or may be relatively small, for example a photograph or postcard display system.

A multipurpose bin structure for receiving a selection of waste materials; said structure including an enclosure containing a plurality of discrete wheeled waste bins; access hatches in said structure providing access for passage of waste to respective said waste bins; said enclosure further providing surfaces for display of advertising indicia; wherein the said surface is adapted for backlighting and the said bin structure is provided with a power source for said backlighting through mains power supply, rechargeable batteries or solar panels incorporated in a upper surface of bin structure. A method of at least partially funding waste collection by providing a local authority with said bin structure installing the bin structure in a public space and leasing at least one side surface of the said bin structure to an organisation for advertising purpose is also described.

An advertising/trash-collection business methodology including manufacturing, custom designing, installing, servicing and maintaining advertising/trash-receptacle units (1) used at a municipality's or other organization's location(s) at no cost, with all costs borne by 3rd-party-paid, advertising revenues. The unit's housing (10) comprises an elongated, rectangular, box-like, lower, trash bin (30) section with a cylindrically-shaped top (13) having a vertically extended, easily changeable, advertising display panel (14) on its top, with the longer-sides (11) having easily changeable, advertising display panels (50), having, in a first embodiment (Figs. 1-6), a lockable (54), transparent, dual-separated-wall (55a/b), top hinged (51) structure, openable outwardly, with the dual-wall-space (56) used for easily changeable, translucent, advertising sheet material, with back-lighting (53a/53b), along with an audio messaging sub-system (60-63). Alternative, longer-side displays use rolled-up advertising material (Fig. 7) and electrically powered digital (Fig. 8) or video (Fig. 9) displays. The top houses electrical/electronic components (60).

Improvements in systems and methods for advertising. Systems and methods according to the invention include specially-adapted computer networks 200, unique data input and acquisition devices 261, and processes for implementing, monitoring, and assessing advertising campaigns. Systems and methods are particularly useful in advertising campaigns directed to multiple locations, and are suitable for use both with fixed or permanent structures and with portable toilets and other temporary or moveable structures.
