A method of embodiments, as described herein, includes detecting a plurality of segments on a flexible display screen, and detecting, via one or more capturing/sensing components, at least one of a touch, a lack of touch, a movement, and a gesture relative to the plurality of segments. The method may further include interpreting the touch to determine one or more active segments or one or more inactive segments of the plurality of segments, and turning-off the one or more inactive segments and keep active the one or more active segments of the plurality of segments of the flexible display screen.
