A method of controlling a home appliance having a touch panel and a touch panel home appliance using the same, such as a remote controller for controlling a television receiver, facilitate user recognition and selection of a specific function key displayed on a touchscreen, to enable enhanced control of the function key by a user desiring to step through many values of a range of values quickly and accurately. The method includes steps of displaying a main menu on the touchscreen of the touch panel, the main menu including at least one function key for controlling the home appliance, the touchscreen enabling a function key of the main menu to be selected by a user; displaying, in response to a user selection of one of the at least one function key, a set of enlarged keys corresponding to the selected function key of the main menu, the display of the enlarged keys on the touchscreen wholly replacing the display of the main menu; and executing, in response to a touch event with respect to the touchscreen displaying the set of enlarged keys, a control function corresponding to the selected function key, the control function having a parameter value set according to properties of the touch event.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Haushaltsgerät, insbesondere Geschirrspülmaschine (1 ) mit einem durch eine schwenkbare Tür (3) verschließbaren Spülbehälter (4), mit einem Bedienfeld (2), in dem Bedienelemente (6) und/oder Anzeigeelemente (7) hinter einer verglasten Fläche (9 bis 11 ) angeordnet und durch Berührung der Fläche (9 bis 11 ) aktivierbar sind. Erfindungsgemäß wird vorgeschlagen, dass die verglaste Fläche (9 bis 11) optisch derart schaltbar ausgebildet ist, dass ihre optischen Eigenschaften zwischen transparent und intransparent wechselbar sind.

Une interface de commande (IC) équipe un système se déclinant selon au moins deux modèles offrant des ensembles différents de fonctions choisies parmi N fonctions. Cette interface de commande (IC) comprend un écran d'affichage (EA) de couleur foncée et comportant N zones sensitives (Z1-Z14) associées respectivement à N pictogrammes, eux-mêmes associés respectivement aux N fonctions, et propres chacune à permettre à un usager de commander la fonction associée, N moyens d'éclairage propres à éclairer respectivement les N pictogrammes, et des moyens de contrôle agencés pour ne faire fonctionner que des moyens d'éclairage qui sont associés aux pictogrammes associés soit à toutes les fonctions d'un ensemble offert par le système considéré, soit à des fonctions appartenant à un ensemble offert par le système considéré et concernant des zones prédéfinies du système considéré dans lesquelles sont présents des usagers.

A touch sensing device is disclosed. The touch sensing device includes one or more multifunctional nodes each of which represents a single touch pixel. Each multifunctional node includes a touch sensor with one or more integrated I/O mechanisms. The touch sensor and integrated I/O mechanisms share the same communication lines and I/O pins of a controller during operation of the touch sensing device.

A display circuit board is provided comprising at least one section being configured as flexible circuit board, wherein the at least one flexible section of the display circuit board comprises at least one electrode being coupleable with a capacitive sensor device. Furthermore, a display module is provided with a display and a display circuit board according to the invention. In addition, a method for the production of a display module is provided, wherein the display circuit board is inserted in a module housing together with the display in such a way that the flexible section is at least partially arranged between a side wall of the display and a side wall of the module housing. Finally, an electrical hand-held device, such as a cell phone or the like, is provided with a display module according to the invention.
