본 발명은 영상회의를 이용한 방송출연 시스템에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 영상회의가 진행될 영상회의 창이 생성되는 회의 중개서버; 상기 회의 중개서버의 영상회의 창에 접근하여 영상회의에 참여하는 회의 참여 단말; 상기 회의 중개서버로부터 수신된 회의영상을 제어하는 방송/회의 제어관리부; 및, 상기 방송/회의 제어관리부로부터 수신한 회의영상을 방송 송출하는 방송진행부;로 구성하되, 상기 회의 참여 단말은 영상회의 프로그램을 구비하는 개인 PC, 유선 단말기 또는 무선 단말기 중 어느 하나인 것을 특징으로 하는 영상회의를 이용한 방송출연 시스템에 관한 것이다.

Provided is a digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB) system that can provide a multimedia data broadcasting service having an excellent reception quality, a method thereof, and a computer-readable recording medium for recording a program that implements the method. The DMB system includes an encoding unit for encoding an inputted audio/video signal; a synchronizing unit for synchronizing media stream, additional data, interactive service objectifying data that are outputted from the encoding unit; a multiplexing unit for multiplexing the media stream outputted from the synchronizing unit; an error correction encoding unit for performing additional error correction encoding on the media stream outputted from the multiplexing unit; an interleaving unit for removing temporal correlation between adjacent byte units within a data stream outputted from the error correction encoding unit; and a transmitting unit for transmitting a DMB media stream outputted from the interleaving unit to the conventional DAB system and other digital broadcasting systems.
Abstract:
An audio streaming system includes a handheld computing device that asynchronously streams audio to a storage subsystem. The handheld computing device receives and buffers audio data of contiguous audio samples and, after a predefined amount of contiguous audio samples has been buffered, assigns an index for that predefined amount of contiguous audio samples and asynchronously transmits the index and those contiguous audio samples to a storage subsystem of a broadcast server system. The handheld computing device, upon determining that the predefined amount of contiguous audio samples has been received by the storage subsystem, transmits a notification message to an application server of the broadcast server system that includes the assigned index and indicates that the corresponding contiguous audio samples are stored on the storage subsystem. The notification message causes the application server to fetch those audio samples according to the index and process them for broadcasting to client computing devices.

There is disclosed a communications system. In an embodiment, the communication system includes a content storage module, a broadcast scheduling engine, a broadcast delivery network, and a tracking and monitoring engine. Use of the communication system for broadcast of content includes uploading communication content from an electronic computing device, over a network, to a content storage module installed on one or more remote servers; creating programming lists from the uploaded content using an broadcast scheduling engine; presenting the programming lists to a plurality of fixed and mobile presentation stations using a broadcast delivery network; and tracking and monitoring presentation of the programming lists as well as consumer reactions to the presenting programming lists using a tracking and monitoring engine.

There is disclosed one or more methods, systems and components therefor for broadcasting captions of a presenter's speech to audience members to accompany the live viewing of the presentation. A host captioning device converts the presenter's speech to text and communicates the text to and for presentation by an audience member's client device. The communication session between the host captioning device and the client device is established by an invitation request from the host captioning device in response to a registration request from the client device. The captioning information may be communicated in real time as text. The host captioning device either connects to a network or provides one itself, thereby serving as an access point for the client devices.

A module containing digital compression and decompression circuitry (320) is used in conjunction with a system whereby a video program may be communicated over a telephone line to an RF broadcaster to be received by individuals at remote locations equipped with one of the modules. In the preferred embodiment, the RF transmitter is an FM transmitter, and the video broadcasts are modulated onto a subcarrier, such as an SCA subcarrier. The module has various other inputs and outputs adapted for connection to other video-related devices and/or a personal computer which may be used for control or program production. A configuration is also described whereby multiple modules may be used in conjunction with a conference control module enabling multiple participants to view one another as part of a gathering such as classroom instruction situation.

A live event may be broadcast with a combination signal that includes a computer coded description of subevents that constitute the event and an audio or visual signal. The viewer's computer then provides an indication to the viewer of the occurrence of subevents of interest and allows the viewer of the event to search for such subevents in a recording of the event.
