Abstract:
Various additional and alternative aspects are described herein. In some aspects, the present disclosure provides a method of communication by an apparatus. The method includes selecting one or more resources for transmitting data of a first data stream based on an acyclic graph. The selected resources conform to the acyclic graph comprising data streams at odd levels of the acyclic graph and resources at even levels of the acyclic graph. The acyclic graph includes edges between each level of the acyclic graph. The edges connect the resources allocated to each data stream. The method further includes transmitting the data of the first data stream on the selected one or more resources.
Abstract:
Coding gains can be achieved by encoding binary data directly to multi-dimensional codewords, which circumvents QAM symbol mapping employed by conventional CDMA encoding techniques. Further, multiple access can be achieved by assigning different codebooks to different multiplexed layers. Moreover, sparse codewords can be used to reduce baseband processing complexity on the receiver-side of the network, as sparse codewords can be detected within multiplexed codewords in accordance with message passing algorithms (MPAs).
Abstract:
In some implementations, a method implemented in a user equipment UE for use in a wireless system for single carrier frequency division multiple access SC-FDMA, the method including receiving an assignment of a scheduling request resource in the wireless system comprising a plurality of subcarriers. A user ID is encoded. An uplink control channel signal comprising the encoded user ID is transmitted on the plurality of subcarriers of the assigned scheduling request resource.
Abstract:
Examples are disclosed for transmitting or receiving data via code division multiple access using highly correlated spreading codes assigned to a user.
Abstract:
A method for transmitting a further signal on a channel having a transmission band includinga plurality of used subbands occupied by transmission signals. According to the method, the presence of free subbands not occupied by thetransmission signalsis detected and the further signal is transmitted using the free subbands.According to the method, the further signal ismultiplexed by using a CDMA code and transmitted on OFDM subcarriers having frequencies within the free subbands.
