摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitted may use a closed loop precoder for line-of-sight (LOS) multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communications that uses information such as distance feedback or LOS MIMO channel state feedback. A closed loop precoder may be associated with less overhead than a precoder based on full channel knowledge, such as an SVD precoder. A receiver may estimate a channel based on channel state information reference signals transmitted by the transmitter and calculate a spectral efficiency for one or more precoders of a set of precoders associated with the channel for a LOS MIMO mode. The receiver may send feedback to the transmitter that indicates a selected precoder of the set of LOS MIMO precoders based on the calculated spectral efficiencies. The transmitter may precode messages using the reported closed loop precoder.

The radio may estimate, based on the set of beam parameters, a plurality of amplitudes associated with the plurality of beams. The radio may identify a maximum amplitude of the plurality of amplitudes. The radio may identify a line-of-sight (LOS) beam based on the maximum amplitude. The radio may input the set of beam parameters associated with the LOS beam into a navigation function.

The trigger frame may be an enhanced beamforming report poll (BFRP) trigger frame. The feedback report may be a beamforming report or a vector index (VI) feedback report. The beamformer may be an access point (AP) and the beamformee may be a station (STA).

摘要: This document presents one or more advantageous approaches for Reinforcement Learning (RL) powered management of one or more transmission parameters, such as transmit power and diversity, for maximizing the application-layer reliability and availability of a Cyber-Physical System (CPS) with a minimized level of radio/power resource consumption. Example mathematical models are also disclosed and are useful for transforming high-level "intents" (e.g., KPIs that are applicable to industrial automation and control systems) into low-level orchestration objectives that drive the RL-based control. These objectives are subsequently employed in the definition of an RL-powered "orchestrator," which may comprise an appropriately configured network node or other computing platform associated with the wireless communication network used to provide inter-device communications for a CPS comprising a population of devices. Further, the disclosure details example communication—e.g., observations and corresponding control signaling—between the orchestrator and the environment being managed.

The network node is configured to control transmission of reference signals from at least two TRPs. The method comprises signalling, towards user equipment is served by the network node, a sequence of TCI states defined for a reference signal burst in which the reference signals are to be transmitted from the TRPs. At least one of the TCI states in the sequence of TCI states is representative of one of the reference signals to be jointly transmitted on a beamform from a first TRP of the TRPs and on a beamform from a second TRP of the TRPs. The method comprises initiating transmission of the reference signal burst from the TRPs.
