Abstract:
According to one aspect, it is realized that automated video production systems can be provided that are fully integrated, and even portable, thus permitting use by a wide variety of consumers. Stated broadly, various embodiments are directed to systems, methods, and kits configured to provide complete video production, which in some examples enables a sole operator to set up and use the production system. Additional embodiments incorporate remote management applications that can configured to communicate with device application programming interfaces (APIs) installed on the video systems and/or kits. In one embodiment, remote personnel can remotely operate the video equipment, and interact with the video subject once the kit is setup and activated. In some examples, news station personnel can ship a video studio kit to an interview location, and once set up, news personnel may conduct an interview with any subject from a remote location.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus for controlling the read out of rows of pixel values from sensors corresponding to different optical chains used to capture portions of the same image area are described. In some embodiments the readout is controlled based on user input and/or determinations with regard to the rate of motion in captured images or portions of captured images. For a low rate of motion the readout rate of a sensor corresponding to a small focal length maybe slowed down while the pixel row readout rate of one or more sensors corresponding to one or more optical chains have larger focal lengths are allowed to proceed at a normal rate. In some embodiments, for a high rate of motion, the read out rate of the sensor corresponding to the optical chain having the smaller focal length is allowed to proceed at the normal rate.
Abstract:
Camera methods and apparatus are described where the camera device includes multiple optical chains. In various embodiments two or more of the optical chains include light redirection devices such as mirrors or prisms. Sensors corresponding to multiple different optical chains, but not necessarily all optical chains, are parallel to each other. In some embodiments sensors corresponding to different optical chains are located in the same plane at the front or rear of the camera. However other sensor mounting positions are also possible.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses an improved portable, transportable mobile entertainment system arranged in a truck. The system comprises of a stage whose length is of 40 feet at least with an extended platform including a novel screen for the enhanced projection of the virtual image, reflective surface, rear wings, space for speakers, technician entry, LED lights, projector with hydraulic lift, etc. The invention particularly discloses a system and method of constructing the improved mobile entertainment system with a novel screen/foil component, stage along with other accessories. This entertainment system not only houses the virtual imaging studio but also cater to the needs of some live performance in addition to the virtual image projection, street plays etc.
Abstract:
It is comprised of a vehicle prepared for television retransmissions, wherein there is provided a closed television studio, having a plateau with chromakey background, lighting, cameras and production control means with the technology necessary to make and produce any type of virtual programs. The production control means is comprised of a keyboard/interface with the computer, wherein is selected the plane provided for each camera; a selector to which are connected the cameras and through which passes the foreground signal required by the computer; a computer which selects the foreground signal and reads in its memory the background which corresponds to said determined signal; and a mixer where the two signals are mixed.
Abstract:
A dockable equipment container includes an outer shell of a durable material and an inner metallic container. The inner container is suspended within the outer shell by blocks of energy absorbent material, such as SORBATHANE. The dockable equipment container further includes a connector at one end, which is covered by a protective door. When mated with external equipment, the protective door is moved to an open position by an alignment device, such as alignment pins, pressing against an end of the protective door. The alignement pins mate with corresponding alignement holes for ensuring that the connector properly mates with a corresponding connector in the external equipment. The dockable equipment container may contain various electronic equipment, which communicates with the external equipment through the connector. The electronic equipment may include disk drives, which are protected from the environment and from shock by the construction of the dockable equipment container.
Abstract:
Methods, apparatus, systems, and devices are described for using a mobile device equipped with an image sensor to retrieve information associated with a light fixture. A method of using a mobile device equipped with an image sensor to retrieve information associated with a light fixture may include capturing, at the image sensor, an image of an illuminated indicia (905). The illuminated indicia may be co-located with the light fixture. At least one characteristic of the illuminated indicia may be determined from the image of the illuminated indicia (910). Information associated with the at least one characteristic of the illuminated indicia may be retrieved (915).
Abstract:
Apparatus and method for relaying moving images in real time using a communication terminal are provided. The apparatus for relaying the moving images in real time using the communication terminal includes a communication terminal of an information provider, configured to have functions of global positioning system, shooting moving images, and data transmission by accessing wireless Internet networks; a terminal of an information requester, configured to request moving images shot by the communication terminal of the information provider and receive moving image information on the shot moving images; and a relay server configured to provide a transmission program to the communication terminal of the information provider so as to track a location of the communication terminal and allow the information provider to transmit the moving image information in real time, and to control and guide, in real time, transmission of the moving image information between the communication terminal of the information provider and the terminal of the information requester.
Abstract:
A stand-alone performance recording system includes an enclosure or performance area adapted to be moved from a first location to a second location, and temporarily, semi-permanently or permanently set up at the second location for the purpose of recording the audio and/or visual aspects of an event performed within the enclosure. Digital audio and video recording are performed within the enclosure.
