본 발명의 일 실시예는, 무선통신시스템에서 AMF(Access and Mobility Management Function)가 UE의 RM(Registration Management) 상태에 관련된 동작을 수행하는 방법에 있어서, 상기 UE의 3GPP access 관련 정보, non-3GPP access 관련 정보 및 PDU 세션의 존재 중 하나 이상을 고려하여, 상기 UE를 RM deregistration 시킬 것을 결정하는 단계; 및 상기 UE를 RM deregistration 시키는 단계를 포함하는, RM 상태에 관련된 동작 수행 방법이다.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for managing registration of a plurality of wireless communication devices to a plurality of different networks with a controller. The controller controls registration and registration priority to each of the plurality of wireless communication devices. Based on the registration priority, the registration limits of each network, and an amount of wireless communication device registrations associated with a wireless communication device user, the controller controls registration of each of the wireless communication devices across the plurality of networks. Controlling registration includes denying registration to a wireless communication device user that has a preexisting network connection, deregistering a wireless communication device that has more than one network connection, and registering/deregistering wireless communication devices based on the registration priority of each wireless communication device.

The present invention is directed toward an automatic connected vehicle subsequent owner method and system for automatically wiping personal data from the vehicle, transitioning remote services access to a subsequent owner, and delinking the vehicle from their smartphone or other interactive communication link. In one more embodiments, a computer implemented method provides for delinking customers and deregistering vehicles from original owners where those vehicles have been subsequently sold, discontinued, or otherwise transferred for the customer's ownership.

무선 통신 시스템에서 PDN 타입 폴백 방법 및 이를 위한 장치가 개시된다. 구체적으로, 무선 통신 시스템에서 홈 가입 서버(HSS: Home Subscriber Server)가 장애가 발생된 제1 패킷 데이터 네트워크(PDN: Packet Data Network) 타입을 정상 동작이 가능한 제2 PDN 타입으로 폴백(fallback)하기 위한 방법에 있어서, 상기 제1 PDN 타입의 장애 발생을 감지한 후, 음성 콜(voice call) 송수신이 있는 단말이 있는 경우, 우선적으로 상기 단말에 의해 확립된 PDN 연결을 위해 할당된 PDN 타입이 모두 상기 제1 PDN 타입인지 판단하는 단계, 상기 단말의 PDN 연결에 할당된 PDN 타입이 모두 상기 제1 PDN 타입인지 여부에 따라 재-어태치가 수반된 디태치(Detach with re-attach) 절차 또는 재-활성이 수반된 단절(Disconnection with re-activation) 절차 중 어느 하나를 결정하는 단계 및 상기 결정된 절차를 개시하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.

Telecommunications network components configured to manage a handover of a communication session, e.g., an emergency communication session, of user equipment are described herein. A core network device may transmit respective handover queries to a plurality of anchoring network devices following a handover request from user equipment. Each anchoring network device can provide a respective indication of whether the emergency communication session is being proxied by that anchoring network device. The core network device may transmit an invitation message to an anchoring network device in response to a positive indication from that anchoring network device. An anchoring network device may store in a memory an address of the anchoring network device in association with an address of the user equipment. The core network device may retrieve from memory the address of the anchoring network device and transmit an invitation message to the anchoring network device using the retrieved address.

A subscriber identity is changed for a mobile terminal (10) through an instruction being provided to the mobile terminal (10) to detach from a first mobile communication system (18, 30), to which first mobile communication system the mobile terminal is attached using a first subscriber identity, where the instruction is also an instruction to change to a second subscriber identity associated with a second mobile communication system (24, 38). The mobile terminal (10) receives the instruction via the first mobile communication system (18, 30), detach from the first mobile communication system attaches to the second mobile communication system using the second subscriber identity. Both subscriber identities are already provided locally in the mobile terminal (10), for instance being stored in the memory (60) of a smart card (12) loaded inside the mobile terminal (10).

If the device (11) receives a message from a first node (10) to the network access point (20) indicating that the first node (10) is terminating (202) a first data link with the network access point(20), the device (11) conditions its own termination of the second data link on a re-assessment (208) of the channel quality (e.g. delay and throughput) after the first data link is terminated.
