Abstract:
A compliant drawer latch is provided. The compliant drawer latch includes a first portion affixed to an inside surface of a chassis, and a second portion coupled to the first portion. The second portion includes a latch strike plate, a latch spring cap plate, and a latch return spring arranged between the latch strike plate and the latch spring cap plate. A drawer contacts the latch strike plate when the drawer is seated in the chassis. When the drawer over-travels the latch strike plate compresses the latch return spring up to a predetermined distance, and the compressed latch return spring applies force to the latch strike plate to return the latch strike plate to a latching position when the drawer rebounds from over-travel.
Abstract:
A storage enclosure includes a chassis, which includes a plurality of drawers arranged horizontally in the chassis. Each drawer of the plurality of drawers is extendable through a front surface of the chassis and is able to mount one or more side-accessible storage devices. For any drawer of the plurality of drawers bordering a side surface of the chassis, when the drawer is extended all storage devices are inserted to or removed from the drawer through an opposite side of the drawer to the side surface of the chassis.
Abstract:

L' invention concerne également un équipement, un ensem ble et un système correspondants.
Abstract:
Methods, systems and devices are described for a chassis with repositionable plates. An apparatus, including a chassis having a frist module bay with a first plate mounting bracket, a second module bay with a second plate mounting bracket and a repositionable plate that is removably connectable to the first plate mounting bracket and removably connectable to said second plate mounting bracket.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an electric switching system which comprises a housing and components which are arranged therein and which are embodied as a control and/or measuring unit. Said components are arranged in modular-type drawers. At least one base module (10) comprises at least one module support profile (12), in addition to lateral walls (24) and front-sided insertion elements (26, 28). One front wall (28) of the base module, preferably the front side thereof, is formed by a control unit and the opposite front wall thereof (26) of the measuring unit, and the dimensions of the control and measuring unit are adapted to the size of the module.
Abstract:
A telescoping slide assembly includes interconnected mounting, intermediate and stationary slide elements movable relative to one another to extend and retract the mounting and intermediate slide elements relative to the stationary slide element between fully extended and retracted positions. The intermediate slide element includes a rib formed therein. A mounting slide lock is disposed substantially within the rib for operative engagement with the mounting slide element to secure the mounting slide element in a fully extended position such that selective release of the mounting slide lock permits the mounting slide element to move to the fully retracted position and to disconnect from the intermediate slide element.
Abstract:
A mounting system for supporting computing devices in a rack of the type having at least two vertical posts. A pair of generally L-spaced brackets are adapted to be respectively mounted to the two posts, each of the brackets having a first elongated strip that is vertically disposed when the bracket is mounted on one of the two posts, and a second elongated strip at one edge of the first elongated strip that is horizontally disposed when the bracket is mounted on a post to form a support surface for the computing device. The second elongated strip has a curvature adjacent the first elongated strip that forms a ridge along the length of the strip upon which a computing device rests when supported by the bracket.
Abstract:
A rack or cabinet with a novel cable management system is described. The rack (12) has a recess for equipment and comprises a retractable frame (18) which forms a cable duct for cables to and from the rack interior, the frame being positioned at the side of the recess.
Abstract:
An improved I/O device, such as an audio/video router, includes at least a motherboard, such as a matrix board, including a plurality of locating slots and a plurality of connectors located on the motherboard such that when the motherboard is mounted in the I/O device, the plurality of connectors are positioned horizontally across the I/O device. The I/O device further includes a plurality of input/output (I/O) cards, such as audio/video cards, each of the I/O cards including a locating slot and two I/O connectors. In an I/O device of the present invention, the locating slot of each of the I/O cards mates with a respective locating slot of the motherboard such that the two I/O connectors of each of the I/O cards vertically straddle a respective connector of the motherboard thus maximizing a number of inputs and outputs able to be provided in the rear of the I/O device.
Abstract:
A quick-mount support (11) includes a fixed retainer (36) adapted to extend into a first retainer aperture (33, 34 and 35) and a movable retainer (38) having an arcuate slot (63) and adapted to extend into a second retainer aperture (33, 34 and 35). The support (11) further includes a pivotable actuator (40), apparatus (76) for mounting the pivotable actuator for pivoting movement about an actuator pivot axis, and a driver (72) coupled to the pivotable actuator (40) and arranged to move in the arcuate slot (63) in the movable retainer (38). The movable retainer (38) pivots about the retainer pivot axis toward and away from the fixed retainer (36) in response to pivoting movements of the pivotable actuator (40) about the actuator pivot axis. In one illustrative embodiment, the mounting apparatus (76) comprises an elastic, deformable O-ring (77) for pivotally mounting the pivotable actuator (40) about an anchor mount so that the actuator pivot axis can shift as the driver (72) moves in the arcuate slot (63).
