Abstract:
Disclosed is a clip fixture for the fast assembly of fittings, such as socket wrench- type closures, swiveling lever-type closures (10), and hinge parts, in breakthroughs (12, 14) of a thin wall (16). Said clip fixture comprises a head piece (24) which is to be placed on the exterior face (18) of the thin wall (16) and covers the outer edge (20) of the breakthrough and from which a body piece (26, 28, 30, 32) extends that penetrates the breakthrough in the mounted position. Holding elements (36) that are resilient in the direction of the outer surface of the body piece protrude from said body piece. The free end of the holding elements (36) is provided with a first sloped area (19) (leading taper) that is used for pushing back the holding element (36) in a spring-loaded manner through the edge of the breakthrough, and a second sloped area (38) (trailing taper) which extends substantially perpendicular to the first one and is used for supporting the body piece free of backlash on the rim or edge (40) of the breakthrough located on the interior face (42) of the thin wall (16). The invention is characterized in that the body piece (26, 28, 30,32), the holding element (36), and the spring (44) are separate parts.

Abstract:
A burglarproof retainer clip (1) having pressing parts (4) and auxiliary parts (5) formed by providing slits (3) in insert parts (2), comprising pressing parts formed generally in the same width as the upper parts of cylinder slits (9), projected parts (10) pressed against the upper parts of the cylinder slits, and inclined parts (11) connected to the projected parts.
Abstract:
A removable core cylinder lock, comprising a casing (10), a lock core (20) with a rotatable key plug (30) in a cylindrical bore (23) and retaining means adapted to releasably retain the lock core in an inserted position in the casing. The casing has two lugs (14, 15) extending radially inwards and being separated transversely from each other, whereas the lock core has two corresponding recesses (27, 28) on both sides of a central, rear portion, whereby the lock core can be fully inserted into said casing. The two lugs are provided with means for fastening the casing to an object.
Abstract:
A deadbolt assembly includes a bolt housing having a longitudinal sleeve defining a first axis. A bolt is located in the longitudinal sleeve. An elongate member has a first end and a second end portion opposite the first end, the first end being attached to the proximal end of the bolt and the second end portion having a first connector. A rotatable crank has a pivot member, a second connector and an arm. The second connector of the crank is operationally engaged with the first connector of the elongate member. A first actuator assembly has a body, a lock cylinder, and a tailpiece that extends from the lock cylinder and is rotatable around a second axis with respect to the lock cylinder. The tailpiece is engaged with the pivot member of the crank. At least a portion of the lock cylinder extends past a vertical plane of an outer side surface of the elongate member.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A constructive improvement to an anti-theft lock device applied to automobile trunks, whose innovative solution implies a new anti-theft lock (1) , applicable both to common trunk locks and to trunk locks having electric assembly elements, wherein said improvement provides greater productivity during the assembly of said item, in addition to providing greater reliability to the anti-theft safety system, and this is achieved thanks to a constructive concept wherein the anti-theft lock item (1) comprises a clench ring element (A) , sealing joint (B) , lock cylinder element (C) and fastening clinch element (D) . The clench ring element (A) comprises a hollowed latch area (Al) , an upper latch element (A2) and a lower latch element (A3) , also having a relief lock (A4) , in addition to structural grooves (A5) . In turn, the fastening clinch element (D) has upper (Dl) and lower (D2) latch ends, having an inflexion segment (D3) in its middle section, and both these elements are fitted into the lock cylinder element (C) . Once assembled, the anti-theft lock item (1) prevents the access of tools (4) to the bracing element (F) , thanks to the formation of a height barrier (Hl) , also generating a width (H2) which eliminates assembly gaps.
Abstract:
Certain exemplary embodiments of the present invention provide a rekeyable lock cylinder, comprising: a cylinder body having a longitudinal axis and defining a longitudinally spaced, radially-aligned first plurality of pin chambers, each of said first plurality of pin chambers adapted to house a corresponding first pin, said cylinder body further defining a longitudinally extending slot therethrough; and a plug assembly disposed in said cylinder body, said plug assembly comprising a plug body defining a second plurality of pin chambers, each of said second plurality of pin chambers adapted to house corresponding second pin.
Abstract:
A cylinder lock includes a shell (14) and a plug (10) inside the shell. A locking pin (52), a sensor pin (54) and a flexible coupling are mounted within the plug. The sensor pin moves the flexible coupling and the coupling moves the locking pin to an unlocked position when the correct key is inserted into a key slot (22) in the plug. The key includes a locking pin receiving notch (90), to allow the locking pin to move to the unlocked position. The key also includes a contact surface (92) that moves the sensor pin and thereby moves the locking pin to the unlocked position through the flexible coupling. When an in correct key, without the locking pin receiving notch, is inserted, the flexibility of the flexible coupling allows the sensor pin to move without moving the locking pin. The cylinder lock may also include conventional pin tumblers. The receiving notch of the key may be provided with an alignment surface (94) that cooperates with the locking pin to control the depth the key is inserted into the lock and allow keys of varying length to align relative to the pin tumblers of the cylinder lock.
Abstract:
A vehicle lock assembly including a cylinder lock (24) and a mounting bracket (26) which is adapted to mount the cylinder lock (26) on a vehicle structure associated with a deck lid of a vehicle. The mounting bracket (26) includes a mounting lug (76) adapted to be fastened to the vehicle structure and mounting arms (82, 83) which support the cylinder lock (24) rearwardly of the exterior panel. The lock mounting arms define mounting surfaces which cooperate with indexing portions (37, 39) on the lock housing to substantially prevent rotation of the cylinder lock (24) relative to the mounting bracket (26) and the deck lid. In one embodiment, the lock housing is mounted on the mounting bracket (26) in dovetail fashion to prevent the mounting arms (82, 83) from spreading apart if an attempt is made to forcibly rotate the cylinder lock (24).
