Smart umbrella for the visually impaired comprising a receiver for receiving weather information being broadcast by the weather service, a vibration module, an acoustic signal emitter, an electronic control panel for the smart umbrella management and a power supply, all that integrated in the handle of the smart umbrella. Additionally, it comprises an obstacle sensor.
Abstract:
A wind resistant umbrella includes an upper canopy that is attached to a lower canopy at select points. Elastic fasteners (e.g., elastic straps) elastically connect the upper canopy to the lower canopy. Flexible connectors that wrap around a peripheral edge of the lower canopy serve to both fixedly attach first ends of the elastic fasteners and provide pockets that receive free ends of the ribs to securely attach the ribs to the lower canopy.

본 발명은 우산, 우산을 대여하는 방법 및 전시정보 제공서비스시스템에 관한 것으로, 우산의 손잡이를 분리한 상태로 휴대하고 다닐 수 있기 때문에 사용자들이 원하는 자신만의 손잡이를 가질 수 있고, 공공장소에서 우산 대여 서비스를 구축함으로써 우산 사용의 근본적인 문제(분실, 소지의 불편, 망각 등) 등을 효과적으로 해결할 수 있으며, 전시물을 관람할 때 우산 또는 양산을 사용할 필요가 없는 위치에서는 우산대 또는 양산대를 탈거한 상태로 분리형 손잡이를 휴대하고 다니면서 전시물 정보를 제공받고, 필요한 경우에는 손쉽게 우산대 또는 양산대에 부착하여 비를 피하거나 햇빛을 막는 용도로 사용할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a flexible canopy. In one embodiment, the flexible canopy includes a central shaft, a sliding collar, a plurality of supports, a plurality of tensioners, a tensioner connection hub, and a membrane. The sliding collar is slidably connected to and surrounds the central shaft. A first end of each of the supports is connected to the sliding collar, and a second end of each of the supports is connected to the membrane near the edge of the membrane. Each of the tensioners is connected at one end to a different one of the supports and at the other end to the tensioner connection hub. In one embodiment, the flexible canopy includes a handle connected to a first, lower end of the central shaft. In other embodiments, the first, lower end of the central shaft includes or is insertable into a base.
