摘要: Un recubrimiento multicapa para recubrir una superficie de un implante (20), comprendiendo el recubrimiento multicapa capas (13) de polielectrolito, en donde las capas de polielectrolito (13) son capas intercaladas de una capa que comprende ácido hialurónico y/o sus derivados y una capa que comprende quitosano y/o sus derivados y teniendo el recubrimiento multicapa una superficie (11) externa con un ángulo de contacto de entre 10º y 50º. Un método para recubrir un implante con un recubrimiento multicapa, siendo el método un método de recubrimiento capa a capa, que comprende una primera etapa de activar una superficie del implante a recubrir mediante grupos hidroxilo, carboxilato, aldehído, epóxido, isotiocianato, de amina, haluro o tiol superficiales, una segunda etapa de generar el recubrimiento multicapa depositando capas (13) de polielectrolito intercaladas de una capa que comprende ácido hialurónico y/o sus derivados y una capa que comprende quitosano y/o sus derivados sobre la superficie activada a recubrir, y una tercera etapa de secar el recubrimiento multicapa, teniendo el recubrimiento multicapa resultante una superficie (11) externa con un ángulo de contacto de entre 10º y 50º.

摘要: Described herein are tunable treatment devices used to treat various diseases such as high intraocular pressure and glaucoma. A treatment device (1) includes a plate structure (200) that is modified based on a treatment application. The mechanical properties of the treatment device (1) may be tuned to achieve a desired bending stiffness, flow rate, and/or tensile elasticity. The mechanical properties may be tuned by changing an overall device shape, device thickness, core materials, and/or channel dimensions. For example, the treatment device (1) can be tuned to have a greater flow rate to treat patients that have higher intraocular pressures. In another example, a core thickness of the treatment device (1) may be increased, thereby increasing bending stiffness to improve surgical handling and reduce a likelihood of folding after implantation. Further, a tensile elasticity of the treatment device may be changed to reduce mechanical strain on surrounding tissue.
