摘要： A model driver for moving a model of, e.g., a ship, an automobile, or a horse used for a game machine or a toy and a game machine provided with such a model driver are disclosed. A model and a traveling body are provided on both sides of a travel plate. The model is coupled to the traveling body by the attracting magnetic force exerted between the permanent magnet provided to the model and that provided to the traveling body. Hence the model travels on the travel plate, following the traveling body. The driving wheel of the traveling body is in contact with the lower side of the travel plate and driven to rotate. The traveling body travels between the lower side of the travel plate and the support surface provided under the travel plate and parallel to the lower side of the travel plate.

A reversible motor (50) in the housing simultaneously rotates the support arms from positions parallel to one another and the main housing to non-parallel positions. Each pontoon assembly includes a tubular housing (82) with exterior screw thread (84) supported for rotation between distal ends of the arm and a reversible pontoon drive motor (130) operably coupled with the tubular housing so as to rotate the housing and thread in a selected rotational direction.
