摘要: Dispositivo purificador del aire que comprende una base de soporte (1) sobre la que está fijada un filtro (2) de partículas, sobre éste filtro (2) se dispone una superficie activa de fotocatálisis (3) quedando cubierta por unos medios de radiación ultravioleta que comprenden una campana (4) en cuyo interior hay unos tubos de emisión (5) de radiaciones ultravioletas y sobre la campana se dispone un motor ventilador (13) y generador de ozono (7) quedando todo cubierto por una tapa superior (6), y unos medios de sensorización y control, donde los medios de generación de radiaciones ultravioleta y el generador de ozono son controlados de manera que no actúa en presencia de personas. También actúa en coordinación con equipos de filtrado molecular para eliminación de gases como el ozono para el post-tratamiento y compatibilización del ambiente con estancia de las personas. El dispositivo permite ubicar y utilizar todas las tecnologías de purificación del aire más importantes.

摘要: A reactor that may contact a gas stream with a catalyst composition includes a catalyst bed module having a first grouping including a first plurality of foam catalyst blocks each bounded by a first front face having a first surface area with an opposing first back face, a first top side with an opposing first bottom side, and a first side face with an opposing first alternate side face and a second grouping adjacent to the first grouping and having a second plurality of foam catalyst blocks each bounded by a second front face having a second surface area with an opposing second back face, a second top side with an opposing second bottom side, and a second side face with an opposing second alternate side face. The first back face of the first plurality of foam catalyst blocks and the second back face of the second plurality of foam catalyst face each face the other in a spaced relationship. The reactor also includes a sealing frame disposed between the first and second groupings and that may maintain the spaced relationship and form a sealed volume between the first plurality of foam catalyst blocks and the second plurality of foam catalyst blocks and a support frame having a support surface and an opening and that may support the first grouping and the second grouping. The first grouping and the second grouping are secured to the support surface such that the opening is positioned between the first grouping and the second grouping and adjacent to the sealed volume, and the sealed volume and the opening provide a passage for gas flow.

摘要: There is provided an air-treatment device comprising an airflow generator for generating an airflow, an adsorbent material for adsorbing one or more airborne contaminants, the adsorbent material being arranged such that at least a portion of the airflow passes through the adsorbent material, a heater arranged to heat a portion of the adsorbent material to desorb adsorbed contaminants, and a photocatalytic reactor arranged to receive air containing the contaminants desorbed from the heated portion of adsorbent material. The photocatalytic reactor comprises a photo-catalyst for photocatalytic degradation of one or more of the contaminants, and one or more light sources for illuminating the photo-catalyst to facilitate photocatalytic degradation. The air-treatment device is arranged such that at least a portion of the airflow that has not passed through the heated portion of the adsorbent material contacts the one or more light sources.

摘要: There is provided a photocatalytic reactor comprising a reaction chamber arranged to receive an airflow comprising one or more airborne contaminants. The reaction chamber comprises a first inner surface, a second inner surface, a photo-catalyst for photocatalytic degradation of one or more of the contaminants disposed upon both the first inner surface and the second inner surface, and a light source arranged to illuminate at least a portion of the photo-catalyst disposed on the first inner surface and the second inner surface. The first inner surface and the second inner surface have distinct parabolic arc-shaped profiles and the profile of the first inner surface is a mirror image of the profile of the second inner surface. The first inner surface and the second inner surface may be consecutive.

The apparatus including a housing with an intake region and an exhaust region and an airflow path disposed between the intake and exhaust regions. The apparatus also includes a space within the housing for placement of the object as well as an intake fan and an oxidant generator proximate the intake fan. The apparatus includes an air filter disposed in the airflow path for removing particulates and pathogens and passes the intake air through either or both of an activated carbon filter and a catalyst to convert the oxidant into oxygen.

The substrate is arranged to be illuminated by both the one or more first light-emitting diodes and the one or more second light-emitting diodes in order to facilitate photocatalytic degradation.

摘要: There is provided a photocatalytic reactor comprising a reaction chamber. The reaction chamber comprises a first set of fins, a second set of fins, a photo-catalyst disposed upon at least one face of each fin, and a light source arranged to illuminate at least a portion of the photo-catalyst disposed on each fin. Each of the first set of fins is arranged such that a line extending from a base of the fin through a tip of the fin is directed to a first convergence point, and each of the second set of fins is arranged such that a line extending from a base of the fin through a tip of the fin is directed to a second convergence point. The first convergence point is different to the second convergence point, and both the first convergence point and the second convergence point are offset relative to a position of the light source.
