    Abstract: A nozzle assembly includes a nozzle housing (86) defining an inner chamber (91) and a mixer (90) disposed within the inner chamber. The nozzle housing includes a nozzle housing and a nozzle orifice. The nozzle receive is configured to connect to a sprayer housing and to receive a first material, a second material, and air. The nozzle orifice is configured to spray a plural component material formed by a mixture of the first material and the second material. The mixer includes a shaft (92), an extension (94), an air channel, and inlet orifice formed in a first end of the shaft, and an outlet orifice formed between the air channel and a surface of the shaft. The extension defines a mixing channel extending between the shaft and the inner surface of the housing and the air channel is defined by an inner surface of the shaft and extends partially axially through the shaft.

    Abstract: Bei der Vorrichtung zur Aufbereitung von Wasser ist an einem rotationssymmetrisch ausgebildeten Kavitationsraum, der eine konkave Innenwand und einen ersten Volumenbereich aufweist und mindestens eine Zuführung für Wasser an den ersten Volumenbereich angeschlossen, über die Wasser tangential in den ersten Volumenbereich des Kavitationsraums einströmt. Dabei geht der erste Volumenbereich in einen zweiten Volumenbereich über, der eine konvexe Innenwand aufweist, an den zweiten Volumenbereich schließt sich ein dritter Volumenbereich des Kavitationsraums an, der wieder eine konkave Innenwand aufweist, dabei ist im ersten Volumenbereich ein größerer Innendurchmesser eingehalten als im zweiten Volumenbereich und der Innendurchmesser des dritten Volumenbereichs wieder größer als der Innendurchmesser des zweiten Volumenbereichs ist. Durch den gesamten Kavitationsraum ist in seiner mittleren Längsachse eine hohlzylindrische Abführung geführt, die im dritten Volumenbereich mindestens eine Eintrittsöffnung für Wasser und außerhalb des Kavitationsraums einen Anschluss für eine Abführleitung von gereinigtem Wasser aufweist.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a reactor and to a relative process for the precipitation of a solid substance from a solution, in particular for a reactive precipitation or crystallization.     Abstract: A system for dispensing a biocompatible reactive formulation includes a first chamber containing a first fluid having a first reactive component, a second chamber containing a second fluid having a second reactive component, and a third chamber containing a third fluid. A spray tip assembly is configured for spraying a final mixture of the first, second and third fluids. The spray tip assembly has a spray tip housing, a mixing element disposed within the spray tip housing, a mixing chamber located between the mixing element and an inner surface of the spray tip housing. The mixing element has a proximal end adjacent the proximal end of the spray tip housing and a distal end adjacent the distal end of the spray tip housing, a third fluid inlet opening at the proximal end of the mixing element, and one or more third fluid exit openings formed in the outer surface of the mixing element that are in fluid communication with the third fluid inlet opening and that extend laterally to the outer surface of the mixing element for being in fluid communication with the mixing chamber. A fluid connector is secured to the proximal end of the spray tip housing and opposes the proximal end of the mixing element. The fluid connector has first and second fluid channels in fluid communication with the mixing chamber, and a third fluid channel in fluid communication with the third fluid inlet opening of the mixing element. A pump assembly is coupled with the first, second and third chambers for simultaneously forcing the first, second and third fluids to flow through the first, second and third fluid channels of the fluid connector and into the proximal end of the spray tip housing.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to hydroformylation reaction processes. In one aspect, a hydroformylation reaction process comprises (a) contacting an olefin, hydrogen, and carbon monoxide in the presence of a homogeneous catalyst in a reactor to provide a reaction fluid, wherein the reactor comprises one or more reaction zones; (b) removing a portion of the reaction fluid from a first reaction zone; (c) passing at least a portion of the removed reaction fluid through a shear mixing apparatus to produce bubbles in the portion of the removed reaction fluid, wherein at least a portion of hydrogen and carbon monoxide provided to the reactor is introduced through the shear mixing apparatus; and (d) returning the removed reaction fluid to the first reaction zone through one or more nozzles wherein the returning reaction fluid exiting each nozzle is a jet, wherein the mixing energy density provided to the reactor by the jets is greater than or equal to 500 Watts/m3.
