A machine for forming a roll of carton blanks and a method of forming a carton blank is provided. The carton blanks have a card outer adhered to a liner, the card outer having a line of perforations defining a tear line, allowing a user to separate the card outer from the liner after use. The machine comprises a perforating station, coating station, first adhesive station, second adhesive station and liner joining station. The method comprises perforating a card blank, applying a protective coating to the card blank, applying adhesive to the card blank and adhering a liner to the card blank.

A carton blank, reel of carton blanks, and a method for manufacturing the carton blank or reel of carton blanks. The carton blank is for use in a vertical form fill sealing machine to form a carton. The carton blank includes a card outer (2) and a liner (17). The card outer is perforated to define a removable portion (14). The liner is attached to the card outer using an adhesive, the liner overlaying the removable portion. The adhesive is disposed about a periphery of the liner, over the perforations in the card outer, and over at least a part of the removable portion.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zum Anbringen eines Schutzelements an einer Verpackung. Bei einer Verpackung kann es sich beispielsweise um eine Kartonage oder eine Faltschachtel handeln, in der oder die ein oder mehrere Gegenstände eingelegt werden können. Bei einem solchen Gegenstand kann es sich um ein Element aus dem Bereich der Möbel- und Bauelementeindustrie handeln, insbesondere ein oder mehrere Möbelteile, wie Fußbodenpaneele, Bretter, Schrankelemente, Möbelzubehör oder Ähnliches.

A method for manufacturing flat folding boxes (80), comprising the steps of: - providing slit-like windows (11, 12) on a supporting layer (1) preferably made of cardboard; - fixing at least one cover sheet (21, 22) on one face of the supporting layer (1); - die-cutting the supporting layer (1) coupled to the cover sheet (21); - first folding of the die-cut element along first slit-like windows (11); - second folding of the die-cut element along second slit-like windows (12), so as to form a collapsed container body (81) of the box (80); - coupling the collapsed container body to a lid (82) of the box.

The object of the invention is an apparatus and a method for producing dish-shaped product packages, which apparatus comprises a forming station (10) for product packages, in connection with which forming station is a secondary tool (20) with secondary moulds (21), a heating station and a primary tool (18) with primary moulds (19) for feeding the sheet-like, fiber-based blanks to be formed into product packages into the forming of product packages. The apparatus also comprises a control system for controlling the functions of the apparatus, and in connection with the apparatus is a film track (12) for providing a formed product package with a film functioning as an inner lining. Preferably, the primary tool (18) comprises two or more primary moulds (19) side by side.

Изобретение относится к области изготовления упаковки для преимущественно пищевых продуктов или продуктов, содержащих или выделяемых жиры и влагу. Достигается расширение арсенала технических средств. Упаковка для пищевых продуктов содержит смотровые окна и состоит из целлюлозно-бумажного каркасного материала-основы и целлюлозной пленки, полученная путем ламинирования упомянутого материала-основы целлюлозной пленкой способом нанесения готовой целлюлозной пленки с помощью клеевого состава равномерно по всей площади материала-основы, смотровые окна образованы за счет нанесения в один слой с внутренней ламинацией целлюлозной пленки поверх вырубленных или высеченых отверстий в основе упаковки. Способ получения упаковки для пищевых продуктов, содержащей смотровые окна, заключается в том, что предварительно высекают или вырубают и удаляют облой формируемых смотровых окон в целлюлозно-бумажном каркасном материале-основе, ламинируют в один слой с внутренней ламинацией целлюлозной пленкой способом нанесения готовой целлюлозной пленки с помощью клеевого состава равномерно по всей площади упомянутого материала-основы в том числе поверх окон в материале-основе упаковки, после чего высекают или вырубают внешний контур заготовки упаковки, собирают готовую упаковку.

A method of sealing reinforced packages. The method can comprise moving an open-ended package in a downstream direction on a package conveyor by engaging the open-ended package with a chain flight of the package conveyor moving in the downstream direction. The method further can comprise forming a bag with a closed end by engaging at least a seal portion of a tail section of an open-ended tube portion of the open-ended package between the chain flight of the package conveyor and a hot plate positioned adjacent the package conveyor. The chain flight can move with the tail section in the downstream direction relative to the hot plate, which can transfer thermal energy to the tail section to at least partially form a seal along the seal portion in the tail section to at least partially form the closed end of the bag.

Die Erfindung geht aus von einem Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Karton-Kunststoff-Verbundschale (10), insbesondere einer MAP-Karton-Kunststoff-Verbundschale für Lebensmittel, aufweisend zumindest die Verfahrensschritte (66, 68, 82, 88): - Bereitstellen einer Kunststofffolie (12), - Vorverformen der Kunststofffolie (12) zur Ausbildung einer Schalenform (14), - Bereitstellen eines Kartonzuschnitts (16), - Verbinden des Kartonzuschnitts (16) mit der bereits vorverformten Kunststofffolie (12) zur Ausbildung der Karton-Kunststoff-Verbundschale (10). Es wird vorgeschlagen, dass der bereitgestellte Kartonzuschnitt (16) unmittelbar vor dem Verbinden mit der vorverformten Kunststofffolie (12) ungefaltet oder unvollständig gefaltet ist.

A thermally insulating packaging to hold an item includes a solid compostable or recyclable shell that is formed primarily of a plant fiber, and a bottom cover. The shell includes a floor, a plurality of inner side walls that are coupled to the floor, a rim coupled to the plurality of inner side walls, and a plurality of outer side walls that are couple to the rim. The floor and the plurality of inner side walls define an interior space of the shell to receive the item and an opening to the interior space. The plurality of inner side walls and plurality of outer side walls have a space therebetween that defines a gap. The gap can be an air-filled cavity, or be filled with a compostable or recyclable core material.
