Abstract:
Un método y aparato para producir charolas que están o no recubiertas con una película plástica y que retienen atmósferas modificadas y a las charolas obtenidas. El aparato permite obtener charolas con diferentes estructuras, que incluyen el formado de las charolas a partir de preformas previamente elaboradas, las cuales tienen o no un separador en el interior de las charolas y opcionalmente recubiertas con una película plástica en su interior. Asimismo consiste del método para la obtención de las charolas y de las charolas obtenidas. Las charolas recubiertas con una película de plástico presentan la capacidad de contener atmosferas con una composición de gases diferente a la del aire en su interior, para ampliar el tiempo de almacenamiento y conservación de productos alimenticios. Lo anterior mediante un cerrado "top sea!" (sello superior) de la charola. Las charolas tienen también un cerrado o tapado simple, sin modificar su atmosfera.

A machine for forming packing templates includes a infeed system that can feed multiple feeds of sheet material into the machine without repositioning the infeed system or forming creases or bends in the sheet material. The machine also includes a separation and cutting systems with one or more cutting tables and biased knives that cut the sheet material packaging templates. The machine also includes creasing roller(s) that forms creases in the sheet material. The machine also includes a system for reducing or eliminating the impact of irregularities in the sheet material.
Abstract:
An apparatus for forming elongate plastic film into a tube around variable size articles includes a conveyor and a forming collar positioned over the conveyor. The forming collar includes left and right sections pivotally supported on a common carrier and moveable relative to the conveyor. The carrier is also moveable relative to the conveyor. The plastic film tube is formed by directing the central film area onto the conveyor, the left film side onto the inside surface of the left collar section and the right film side onto the inside surface of the right collar section. Movement of the forming collar left and right sections about their pivotal supports and/or movement of the carrier cause the forming collar sections to move between retracted and expanded positions for thereby forming a variable size plastic tube corresponding to the article size being received therein.

A method of sealing reinforced packages. The method can comprise moving an open-ended package in a downstream direction on a package conveyor by engaging the open-ended package with a chain flight of the package conveyor moving in the downstream direction. The method further can comprise forming a bag with a closed end by engaging at least a seal portion of a tail section of an open-ended tube portion of the open-ended package between the chain flight of the package conveyor and a hot plate positioned adjacent the package conveyor. The chain flight can move with the tail section in the downstream direction relative to the hot plate, which can transfer thermal energy to the tail section to at least partially form a seal along the seal portion in the tail section to at least partially form the closed end of the bag.

Durch Tiefziehen mittels eines Zusammenwirkens eines Stempels (33) der Formstation (5) mit einer Matrize (31) der Formstation (5) wird eine Verpackungsmulde (35) in der Materialbahn (15) geformt, wobei bei dem Tiefziehen der Stempel (33) und die Matrize (31) eine gegenseitige Relativbewegung entlang einer vertikalen Richtung (V) ausführen und so ein Bereich der Materialbahn (15) zwischen der Matrize (31) und dem Stempel (33) verformt wird. The method can comprise moving a blank in a machine direction on a blank conveyor, and forming a tubular web while moving a first web of material and a second web of material in the machine direction. The forming the tubular web can comprise at least partially sealing at least a portion of the first web and the second web together to form a sealed margin of the tubular web. The method further can comprise forming a liner by cutting the tubular web, forming an attached blank by attaching the liner to the blank, and moving the attached blank in the machine direction on the blank conveyor.
