The invention further comprises a system for measuring and regulation the relative humidity of the biodegradable paper-based material forming the complementary portions (4a, 4b, 6) of the pod (5). Additionally, the invention relates to a manufacturing process comprising the steps of measuring the relative humidity of at least one side of the sheet (3) of biodegradable paper- based material forming one of the complementary portions (4a, 4b, 6) of the pod (5) and regulating different steps of this process according the relative humidity measured in one or more of the shaping steps.

The invention relates to a method for deep-drawing cavities (2) in thin metal foils (3), preferably in aluminium composite foils coated on both sides with a plastic material and used for blister packs (1). According to said method a drawing punch (6) pushes the metal foil (3), which lies flat between the blank holder (10) and the lower die (12), into a die opening (13). To optimise both production and the shape of the cavity the invention provides for a subsequent deformation step, according to which the casing wall (19) extending from the floor to the level metal foil area is encircled in a circular manner by a second die opening (18) with a resulting reduction in the diameter of the cavity opening (D to D') and displaced inwards towards the drawing punch axis (x-x), i.e. at a steeper incline to the level metal foil plane (E-E).
