Certain methods and manufactures disclosed herein further relate to the utilization of materials, manufacturing, mechanical function, and methodologies to produce tubular composite structures for the renewal of pipeline systems, standalone pipelines and standalone coiled storage usages. The tubular composite structure comprises a tubular assembly, wherein the tubular assembly may comprise a sealing layer, one or more axial reinforcement layers, a hoop reinforcement layer, and a protective layer; each tubular assembly optionally further comprising a sensor array layer: and the tubular composite structure optionally further comprising one or more interspatial annular cylinders between adjacent tubular assemblies.

摘要: Multilayer tubes including an inner layer and a tie layer are described. The inner layer includes a fluorinated polymer, and has an inner surface defining an inner diameter of the multilayer tube and an outer surface separated from the inner surface by a thickness of the inner layer. The tie layer includes a functionalized styrene block copolymer and is disposed on the outer surface of the inner layer. When the multilayer tube further includes an outer layer, the multilayer tubes exhibit improved peel strength as compared to multilayer tubes including the inner layer and outer layer alone. Methods of manufacturing the multilayer tubes and articles comprising the multilayer tubes are also described.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to articles comprising first and second layers, each layer including a cross-linkable polymer and a cross-linker, to methods for preparing and curing such articles, and to articles formed thereby. In one aspect, the disclosure provides a curable article including a first layer including a first cross-linkable polymer comprising at least about two unsaturated carbon bonds, a first cross-linker comprising at least about two silicon-hydride functional groups, present in the first layer in an amount within the range of 0.1 wt.% to 20 wt.%, and a first hydrosilylation catalyst; and a second layer in contact with the first layer, the second layer comprising a second cross-linkable polymer comprising at least about two unsaturated carbon bonds, a second cross-linker comprising at least about two silicon-hydride functional groups, and a second hydrosilylation catalyst. The second layer does not include a substantial amount of the first cross-linkable polymer.
