Abstract:
Abstract:
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention are directed to an apparatus and method for creating pixelated artwork composed of coloring element pixels. In some embodiments, a system converts the millions of pixels and colors of a digital image to a simplified color template with numbers assigned to particular colors. In one embodiment, a plastic grid is configured to cover the color template and receives crayons whose arrangement is determined by the numbers/colors of the color template.
Abstract:
A paving slab is provided. The paving slab has a unitary body made of concrete- based material, the body having sidewalls extending between top and bottom faces, providing the body with a thickness. The top face is provided with longitudinal false joints defining rows extending from a first to a second side of the unitary body. The first side has a staggered outline and the second side has a stepped outline, the first and second sides being able to engage with respective first and second sides of an adjacent slab shaped as the paving slab, but rotated by 180 degrees. When several of the slabs are assembled on a surface, it creates an illusion that the surface is covered by individual plank pavers randomly assembled.
Abstract:
A manufactured article (1) for the mosaic covering of surfaces, particularly walls and floors, comprising a plurality of tesseras (2) adapted to cover a surface (S) to be covered and arranged mutually side-by-side. The manufactured article (1) comprises at least one perforated sheet-like element (3) with a face (3a) which can be associated with the exposed surface (2a) of the tesseras (2) by interposing at least one layer (4) of adhesive of the wettable type.
Abstract:
A composite body consisting of a support and at least one decorative layer joined thereto. The support consists essentially of a natural and/or synthetic thermoplastic or thermoelastic polymer. Such a support can, for instance, be used for floor coverings such as parquet or for inlaid work. The invention also relates to a method for the production of a composite body, whereby the decorative layer is compressed with the support at a high pressure and high temperature to obtain said polymer.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a metallic design and graphic. More specifically, the present invention describes an technique for bonding discrete wire elements (2) on a surface, wherein an additional/visible surface (3) is applied to a base support (1), openings (4) are created in the additional surface (3), and wire elements (2) are bonded to a surface reachable in the openings (4). The additional/visible surface (3) is non-bondable to the wire elements (2) forming the design or graphic.
Abstract:
The invention refers to a decorative aggregate (10) adapted to be mounted to a surface (100). The aggregate (10) comprises a plurality of elements (1). Each element comprises a container (2) having a bottom wall (3) and side walls (4) delimiting a cavity (5), a filling (9) of a vegetative material disposed in the cavity (5), and a fastener (8) adapted to mount the element (1) to the surface (100). The invention also refers to an element of a decorative aggregate.
Abstract:
[Problem] To easily and suitably form a decorative layer on a formed object. [Solution] The present invention is a decoration member manufacturing method with which a decoration member 1 is manufactured by forming, on a formed object 5, a decorative layer 4 that includes a multi-color or multi-layer silicone ink layer. The formed object 5 is a member with a rubber-like elastic layer or a silane-compound-containing coating layer formed on the surface thereof, a rubber-like elastic member, glass, or metal. Said method comprises: a decoration forming step for forming, on a planar printing substrate 2, a decorative layer 4 having a multi-color or multi-layer silicone ink layer 3 to be formed on the formed object 5, wherein the surface of the decorative layer 4 is composed of the silicone ink layer 3 that includes silicone ink; a surface modification step for modifying the silicone ink layer 3 on the surface of the decorative layer 4 formed upon the printing substrate 2, and for modifying the surface of the formed object 5 on which the decorative layer 4 is to be formed; and a joining step for bonding together and integrally joining the decorative layer 4 of the printing substrate 2 and the surface of the formed object 5.
