A wiper assembly (100) is provided, comprising a wiper arm (1 10), a wiper blade (120), and a coupling device (130) configured to enable connection of the wiper blade (120) to the wiper arm (1 10), wherein the coupling device (130) comprises a first part (140) being connected to one of said wiper arm (1 10) or said wiper blade (120), and a second part (150) being connected to the other one of said wiper arm (1 10) or said wiper blade (120). The first part (140) comprises an engaging section (142) being configured to provide an axial fixation of the first part (140) relative the second part (150), and at least one recess (144) configured to provide a rotational fixation of the first part (140) relative the second part (150), and wherein the second part (150) comprises a receiving section (152) configured to receive the engaging section (142) of the first part (140), a locking device (160) arranged radially outwards of said first part (140) and comprising at least one radial protrusion (162) configured to fit with said recess (144) of the first part (140), and a wall (170) surrounding said locking device (160), wherein said wall (170) comprises a constricted section (172) whereby an inner wall (174) of said constricted section (172) is configured to press the radial protrusion (162) radially inwards when the constricted section (172) is axially aligned with the radial protrusion (162).

The invention relates to a wiper device, especially for the windshields of automobiles, comprising a powered wiper arm (20) mounted by one end on the automobile. The free end (21) of said arm is releasably hinged to a long wiper blade (12) that has a wiper strip (22) by means of a connecting device (18) having a hinge bolt (24) on the arm side. The hinge axis of said bolt extends substantially crosswise relative to the longitudinal direction of the wiper blade in working direction (double arrow 88) of the wiper device. On the wiper blade side, said wiper device also has coupling part (26) with a bore-like bearing support for the hinge bolt (24) in a central section of the wiper blade (12) on the side thereof opposite the windshield (16). The bearing support has open edges in the insertion channel (70) for the hinge bolt (72) that is oriented on its surface area in the direction of the axis of the bore and is provided with a narrowing (94) that can be elastically widened to match the diameter (92) of the hinge bolt, the width of said narrowing being smaller than the diameter of the bore. A particularly reliable hinge connection between the wiper arm and the wiper blade that is capable of resisting difficult working conditions is achieved by fitting the coupling part (26) with a separate locking element (42) in order to form the narrowing. Said separate coupling element can be moved from a locked position blocking the insertion channel into a opening position that releases the insertion channel by a restoring force (96).

El dispositivo también comprende una escobilla (12) limpiaparabrisas montada basculante con respecto al distanciador principal (10) a través de unos medios de basculacion (14) y un distanciador secundario (22) montado en el extremo distal (8) en redundancia con el distanciador principal (10). Los medios de basculacion (14) comprenden un primer elemento dentado (16) solidario de dicho distanciador secundario (22) y un segundo elemento dentado (18) solidario de dicha escobilla (12), que están montados engranados entre sí para provocar la basculacion de la escobilla (12) alrededor de su eje (48) longitudinal en el sentido de basculacion opuesto al sentido del movimiento de vaivén del primer y segundo brazos (2,4).

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Scheibenwischvorrichtung (100) für ein Fahrzeug mit einem Befestigungselement (32) und einer Montageeinheit (110), die ausgelegt ist, um am Befestigungselement (32) montiert zu werden, wobei die Montageeinheit (110) ein erstes Eingriffsmittel (116) aufweist. Die Scheibenwischvorrichtung (100) umfasst ein Wischblatt (2) mit einer Längserstreckung (8), wobei das Wischblatt (2) ein wischblattseitiges Befestigungsteil (120) mit einem zweiten Eingriffsmittel (124) aufweist. The connector assembly may include a wiper blade connector, a wiper blade connector cover connected to the wiper blade connector and pivotable between an open position and a closed position, and a wiper blade connector adapter securable between the wiper blade connector and the wiper blade connector cover. The various embodiments of a wiper blade connector assembly permit the embodiments of the wiper blade assembly to be connected with a plurality of wiper arm types.

A leaf spring urges the wiper arm and a compliant force distribution arrangement toward the surface, and a mounting arrangement couples the first end of the wiper arm and the leaf spring element to a source of motion. The wiper arm has a first end coupling the first end of the wiper arm member to a source of motion, and a compliant force distributor is coupled to the second end, having plural resilient beam members integrally formed with each other and adapted to engage a wiper blade. A wiper mount has a mounting element having a mounting portion coupled to a source of motion and a drive portion for engaging the wiper arm. The leaf spring element also has a mounting portion coupled to the source of motion, and has a drive portion for engaging the wiper arm.
