The present invention relates to a packaging apparatus (1) of at least one product (P) disposed on a support (4); said packaging apparatus (1) comprising: a frame (3), a lower tool (2) engaged with the frame (3) and configured for receiving one or more supports (4), an upper tool (6) configured for engaging a film portion (5a) with at least one support (4). The lower tool (2) is movable relative to the frame (3) at least between: a packaging position, in which the lower tool (2) is aligned with the upper tool (6), a loading position spaced from the packaging position in which the lower tool (2) is configured for receiving said support (4). The packaging apparatus (1) comprises a barrier (7) configured for intercepting the package (40) during the movement of the lower tool (2) from the packaging position to the loading position. The present invention also relates to a packaging process using said apparatus (1).

A tape-and-reel system for processing components is disclosed. In the embodiment, the tape-and-reel system includes a first carrier tape reel for holding unloaded carrier tape, a component loading system for loading components into pockets of the unloaded carrier tape, an air-guided cover tape feeder through which cover tape travels, an alignment tool for guiding the cover tape into alignment with the loaded carrier tape and adhering the cover tape to the loaded carrier tape to secure the components into the loaded carrier tape, and a second carrier tape reel for holding the loaded carrier tape.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Verpackung, bei dem eine bedruckte Unterwarenbahn (8), die Druckmarken aufweist, taktweise von einer Warenbahnrolle (21) in einer Laufrichtung (27) abgerollt und einer Formstation (2) zugeführt wird, in der eine Verpackungsmulde (6, 6') in die Unterwarenbahn (8) eingeformt wird. A container sealing apparatus is provided, comprising a sealing tool having a lower tool half (6) and an upper tool half (6a); a feed lane (3) for transferring one or more containers to and away from means for transferring containers on to the lower tool half of the sealing tool; and a lifting mechanism for moving the lower tool half towards the upper tool half. The container sealing apparatus also comprises an elongate container guide (5) extending along the feed lane and sealing tool to laterally locate containers as they are transported along the feed lane and sealing tool, and control apparatus (2) adapted to adjust the lateral position of at least the part of said container guide extending along said feed lane.

When a predetermined compressive force is applied to said third member, a latching mechanism responds by latching said second member to said third member, such that when a further compressive force is applied to said third member, said first member and lifting mechanism are isolated from said further compressive force.
