Abstract:
A conveyor belt cleaning assembly includes a first rail member, a second rail member, and a locking mechanism for removably securing the first rail member to the second rail member. The first rail member includes a first base wall, a first leg extending from a first end of the first base wall, a second leg extending from an opposite second end of the first base wall, a first bottom retaining wall, and a first side retaining wall defining a first inner taper portion extending inwardly toward the second leg. The second rail member includes a second base wall, an inner wall, an opposite outer wall, a second bottom retaining wall, and a second side retaining wall defining a second inner taper portion extending inwardly toward the inner wall. The second inner taper portion is a mirror image of the first inner taper portion.
Abstract:
A belt cleaner assembly is provided for cleaning a conveyor belt. The belt cleaner assembly includes an elongate support member for extending longitudinally across a conveyor belt. The belt cleaner assembly further includes a cartridge for supporting at least one scraper blade thereon. The cartridge is slidable over the support member. The belt cleaner assembly further includes slide blocks between the support member and the cartridge to space facing surfaces of the cartridge and the support member from each other.
Abstract:
A self-cleaning ring conveyor includes a first roller having a first rotational axis and a second roller having a second rotational axis that is parallel with the first rotational axis. The conveyor also includes a first ring extending around a combination of the first roller and the second roller and a second ring extending around the combination of the first roller and the second roller. The first ring and the second ring are parallel to each other. The conveyor also includes a first scraper having a first scraping slot and a second scraping slot. The first ring extends through the first scraping slot and the second ring extends through the second scraping slot.
Abstract:
A conveyor belt scraper blade comprising a scraper layer supported by a support unit. The support unit comprises a base and at least two support fingers projecting side-by-side from the base. The fingers are capable of flexing to and from contact with a conveyor belt so as to optimise the lifetime of the scraper and minimise damage to the belt.
Abstract:
An improved conveyor belt assembly is provided with telescoping housing sections and a tension system for extending and retracting the sections relative to one another to maintain a selected tension on the conveyor belt. The assembly also has a lower end with a stepped profile matching the stepped profile of the cleated belt, so as to pick up and discharge fallen seeds or material and eliminate gaps where fallen seeds and material may collect. One or more scrapers are provided adjacent the lower track of the belt to push stray seeds and material off the lower track for pick up by the cleated belt at the lower end of the assembly.
Abstract:
A cushion for a scraper blade may comprise: a support plate having one or more members for engaging a support; a mounting plate opposite the support plate having a first end to which a scraper blade is mountable and having a second end remote from the first end; and a resilient cushioning material between and adhering to the support plate and the mounting plate. The cushion may further include one or more springs extending between the support plate and the mounting plate, or the resilient cushioning material surrounding the one or more springs, or the mounting plate having holes filled by the resilient cushioning material, or the second end of the mounting plate being formed to extend towards the support plate, or a combination thereof.
Abstract:
A conveyor belt cleaner for scraping material from a surface comprising a mounting assembly operatively attached to a support frame, the mounting assembly comprising at least one scraper blade, a biasing member associated with each scraper blade and a scraper blade arm extending there between. The biasing member and scraper blade arm are configured such that the conveyor belt cleaner provides for full circle deflection of and a floating point of rotation for the base member, scraper blade arm. and scraper blade. The mounting assembly is further configured to enable material cleaned from the conveyor belt surface to pass freely through the mounting assembly to avoid inhibiting the operation of the conveyor belt cleaner.
Abstract:
A scraping and cleaning device (1) for conveyor belts (N) comprising a support shaft (15) arranged transversally to the belt (N), one or more frames (3f) being arranged on said shaft (15), each frame being provided with scraping members (4) adhering with the surface (S) to be scraped of said belt (N), to define on it at least a contact line (5). The device comprises adjusting means (6, 10, 17) adapted to vary in a significant way the position of the contact line (5).
