Abstract: A glazing comprising: at least one transparent substrate comprising a first major surface and an opposing second major surface, wherein said first major surface is coated with an electrically conductive layer, wherein the electrically conductive layer is absent in one or more regions of the first major surface, wherein at least a portion of i) said one or more regions of the first major surface, and/or ii) corresponding regions of the opposing second major surface, bears a low-emissivity material, and wherein said one or more regions permit the passage of electromagnetic radiation through the glazing.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a cover glass sheet (10) configured to cover at least a display device, having an outer sheet face and an inner sheet face wherein the inner sheet face faces the display device and comprises a layer of opaque paint. The outer sheet face comprises: a) at least a display zone (1) allowing to visualize at least part of a screen of the display device, said display zone having a perimeter, Pdispiay; b) at least an opaque zone (2) corresponding to said layer of opaque paint and directly surrounding at least 10-100% of the display perimeter, said opaque zone has a mean surface roughness defined by an opaque arithmetic amplitude value, Ra(op). The outer sheet face further comprises at least one textured zone (3) covering between 0.5% to 99.5% of the opaque zone, said textured zone directly surrounds at least 5% of the display perimeter, and has a mean surface roughness defined by a textured arithmetic amplitude value, Ra(tex). The absolute difference between Ra(op) and Ra(tex) is at least 25 nm ( I Ra(op) -Ra(tex) | ≥ 25 nm).

Abstract: A device for enhanced electromagnetic communication through a coated transparent substrate is provided. The device includes a first transparent conductive (TC) layer having a first surface and a second TC layer having a second surface. The first surface is parallel to the second surface. The device also includes a first section extending through the first TC layer from the first surface and aligned with an axis that extends from the first surface to the second surface. The first section is configured to enhance electromagnetic communication through the coated transparent substrate. The device further includes a second section extending through the second TC layer from the second surface and offset from the axis that extends from the first surface to the second surface. The second section is configured to enhance electromagnetic communication through the coated transparent substrate.

Abstract: The invention provides transparent conductive coatings based on indium tin oxide. The coating has an oxide overcoat, such as an alloy oxide overcoat. In certain embodiments, the coating includes both a first indium tin oxide film and a second indium tin oxide film. In certain other embodiments, the coating includes both an indium tin oxide film and a zinc tin oxide film. In still other embodiments, the coating includes both an indium tin oxide film and a silicon tin oxide film. In yet other embodiments, the coating includes both an indium tin oxide film and an aluminum tin oxide film. In some embodiments, the coating further includes one or more overcoat films comprising silicon nitride, silicon oxynitride, silicon dioxide, or titanium dioxide.
