Abstract: The present disclosure provides an extrudable article and a composition, each including at least one polyurethane including hydroxyl groups and latent isocyanate groups in the form of uretdione groups. The hydroxyl groups are present on a first polyurethane and the latent isocyanate groups are present on either the first polyurethane or a second polyurethane and a ratio of the latent isocyanate groups to the hydroxyl groups is greater than 1.2 : 1. A method of making the extrudable article is provided including reacting in an extruder a polymerizable composition including a uretdione-containing material including a reaction product of a diisocyanate reacted with itself, a hydroxyl-containing compound, and an isocyanate-containing compound. A method of making a core-sheath filament is provided including forming a core composition of the at least one polyurethane and wrapping a sheath composition including an ethylene copolymer or a polyolefin around the core composition. Further, methods of printing a composition are provided including heating and mixing the extrudable article, such as in an extruder, to form a molten composition, then dispensing the molten composition through a nozzle onto a substrate.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a polyurethane adhesive composition, including: a) a polydiol, at least including a polyester diol having a weight average molecular weight of 400-4000; b) an aliphatic polycaprolactone triol having a weight average molecular weight of 100-600; and c) a polydiisocyanate, at least including one of a hexamethylene diisocyanate trimer and an isophorone diisocyanate trimer. A polyurethane adhesive prepared from the polyurethane adhesive composition provided by the present invention and a polyurethane adhesive tape including the polyurethane adhesive at least have good room-temperature adhesion performance and good high-temperature resistance.

Abstract: This disclosure provides for new polyisocyanurate (PIR) foams that exhibit improved flame retardant properties and thermal barrier properties, and which can pass certain thermal barrier tests in the absence of a protective covering such as specified in the thermal barriers codes. In an aspect, it has been unexpectedly discovered that when a relatively high viscosity and high functionality polyisocyanate is used with a high aromatic content polyester polyol and an HFO and/or HCFO blowing agent, and a flame retardant compound, unexpectedly good flame retardant polyisocyanurate foams can be generated, for example, when a high A-side:B-side volume ratio (v:v) and a relatively high Isocyanate Index (ISO Index) are used in the process.

Abstract: To provide a composition capable of forming a polyurethane foam having excellent filling properties, surface properties, and strength. A polyurethane resin composition containing a polyol component and a polyisocyanate component, in which the polyurethane resin composition contains a compound (A) as the polyol component or a component other than the polyol component, the compound (A) has a molecular weight of 220 or less, has two or more reactive groups capable of reacting with an isocyanate in one molecule, and has one reactive group with a reaction activity with an isocyanate group that is higher than the reaction activity with an isocyanate group of the other reactive groups of compound (A), and the ratio of the hydroxyl value of the compound (A) to the hydroxyl value of the polyol component is 1.2 or more, provided that when the compound (A) falls under the polyol component, the phrase "the hydroxyl value of the polyol component" refers to the hydroxyl value of the polyol component other than the compound (A).
