Disclosed are methods and compositions for coagulating and clarifying produced waters for use as boiler feed waters, for example for the generation of steam. The methods and compositions are especially useful for treatment of produced waters from steam-injection methods of tertiary oil recovery such as steam-assisted gravitational drainage. Disclosed are compositions comprising a first copolymer having a high molecular weight and bearing a low molar cationic charge and a second copolymer having a lower molecular weight and bearing a high molar cationic charge. The compositions are suitable for addition as coagulants to produced waters that have been treated by warm lime softening. Also disclosed are methods of treating produced waters from steam-injection oil recovery for use as boiler feed waters to generate steam in such steam injection methods.

The preferred inventive coating has excellent thermal and chemical stability, excellent adhesion to microporous base substrate, membrane, and/or electrode, improved binding properties to ceramic particles and/or has improved or excellent resistance to thermal shrinkage, dimensional integrity, and/or oxidation stability when used in a rechargeable lithium ion battery.

An organic composition is provided which comprises a non-polymeric charge transport material being one of a hole transport material and an electron transport material; a polymeric charge transport material being one of a hole transport material and an electron transport material; and a charge generation material. Specifically, the organic composition can comprise between 1% to 10% of low-molecular weight hole transport material in the form of titanyl oxyphtalocyanine (TiOPc); between 50% to 70% of polymeric hole transport material in the form of triphenyldiamin; and between 10% to 50% of charge generation material in the form of polyvinylcarbazol. The invention may provide an optical sensor element which allows a combination of advantageous physical, electrical and optical properties. In particular, the properties may be suitable for a low cost printing manufacturing process using a printing ink generated by dissolving the organic composition in a suitable solvent.
