There are provided processes for producing liquid fuels from a mainly organic starting material with a reduced content in water and/or with a reduced content in solids. The mainly organic starting material can be at least partially liquified and optionally further dewatered. The obtained at least partially liquid fraction can be thereafter used as feeding stream that is submitted to a pyrolysis treatment resulting in a solid gas fraction allowing the recovering of a liquid fuels after a controlled liquid solid separation treatment. There are also provided various other processes for producing liquid fuel from waste hydrocarbon and/or organic material as well as reactors, apparatuses, uses and managing systems thereof.

The present disclosure provides a process for separating valuable petroleum products from Clarified Slurry Oil by vacuum distillation with gradual increase in temperature of the distillation column. Vacuum distillation produces valuable 5 products including lighter fractions (Diesel/Light Diesel Oil), Cycle Oil, Rubber Process Oil and Petroleum Pitch. The Rubber Process Oil obtained can be further processed to reduce the asphaltene content, the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) content and the olefin content.

Invention solves method of processing of hydrocarbon raw materials, especially crude petroleum, by the way of its heating-up with liquid molten thermal medium, for example salt melt, wherein incoming crude petroleum is processed in two phases, namely by low- temperature distillation in reactor (R-1) of low-temperature block (I) in heat medium at temperature 400-600°C and by subsequent high-up temperature pyrolysis in reactor (R- 2) of high up-temperature block (II) in thermal medium at temperature 800-1200°C, respectively when using high-speed circulatory gas blown in reactors (R-1 , R-2) at speed of =10-100 m/s. Essence of the invention for processing of the method is that device consists of one low-temperature block (I) and at least of one high up- temperature block (II), each of them containing at least reactor (R), salt regenerator (RS), vapor and gases condenser (K), blower (N) and gas-holder (G) of circulating gas, which are connected through with conduit system, whereas blocks (I) and (II) are mutuall connected u as well.

This invention relates to a process and system for cracking hydrocarbon feedstock containing vacuum resid comprising: (a) subjecting a vacuum resid to a first thermal conversion in a thermal conversion reactor (such as delayed coker, fluid coker, Flexicoker TM , visbreaker and catalytic hydro visbreaker) where at least 30 wt% of the vacuum resid is converted to material boiling below 1050°F (566°C); (b) introducing said thermally converted resid to a vapor/liquid separator, said separator being integrated into a steam cracking furnace, to form a vapor phase and liquid phase; (c) passing said vapor phase to the radiant furnace in said steam cracking furnace; and (d) recovering at least 30 wt% olefins from the material exiting the radiant furnace (based upon the weight of the total hydrocarbon material exiting the radiant furnace).

A process for cracking a hydrocarbon feedstock containing salt and/or particulate matter, wherein said hydrocarbon feedstock containing salt and/or particulate matter is heated, then separated into a vapor phase and a liquid phase by flashing in a flash separation vessel, separating and cracking the vapor phase which comprises less than about 98% of the hydrocarbon feedstock containing salt and/or particulate matter, and recovering cracked product. The salt and/or particulate matter are removed in the liquid bottoms stream from the flash separation vessel. The liquid phase could then be sold as bunker C fuel oil or fed to a refinery catalytic cracker or coker unit without desalting.
