The present invention relates to a method for the production of carpet comprising reducing a fiber length of a thread; fixing the reduced fiber length such that a thermally activatable memory effect is created; temporary stretching the fixed thread; processing the temporarily stretched thread to produce carpet or semi-finished carpet; heating the carpet or semi-finished carpet produced in this way at least up to an activation temperature of the memory effect, characterized in that the fixing of the reduced fiber length comprises the use of a chemical process such as treatment with sulfite. The invention also relates to a carpet produced by this method.

A method for the continuous treatment of a web of wool slivers comprising the following steps separately and in order: (i) continuously treating said web with a non-ionic ethoxylated detergent, (ii) continuously treating said web with permonosulfuric acid or salts thereof, (iii) continuously treating said web with a sulfite containing solution, and (iv) continuously treating said web with an emulsion, dispersion or microemulsion of an aminofunctional polydimethylsiloxane.

The methods do not utilize dichloroisocyanuric acid, chloroamines, peroxymonosulfuric acid, monoperoxyphthalic acid, permanganate, chlorine gas, sodium hypochlorite, or aminoplast resins.

본 발명은 친수성으로 표면개질된 폴리프로필렌 부직포의 표면개질방법에 관한 발명으로, 먼저 폴리프로필렌(PP) 부직포를 에폭시기를 갖는 단량체 용액에 담지하는 단계, 상기 부직포에 전자선을 조사하여 PP 표면에 단량체를 그라프팅하는 단계, 단량체가 그라프팅된 부직포를 아황산나트륨 용액에 담지하여 -SO3Na기를 PP 표면에 형성시키는 단계를 포함함으로써 친수성으로 표면개질 된 PP 부직포를 얻을 수 있다.
