    摘要： A set of building panels, such as floor panels or wall panels, having a mechanical locking device at opposite first and second edge portions (11, 12), such as short edges, configured for horizontal locking of similar or essentially identical panels in an assembled position by means of displacement in an engagement direction (E), such as a vertical direction, of the second edge portion (12) of a second panel (2) relative the first edge portion (11) of an adjacent first panel (1). The second edge portion (12) has a locking groove (25) configured to receive a locking element (45) of the first edge portion (11) of an adjacent first panel (1) by means of said displacement. An outer portion (46-49) of the locking element (45), such as in a horizontal direction (H) transverse the first edge portion (11), is configured to cooperate with an inner portion (26-30) of the locking groove (25) for positioning, such as horizontal (H) positioning, respective upper edge portions (22a, 42a) of the first and second edge portions (11, 12) during assembling.

    摘要： There is disclosed building panels comprising a first (1) and a second (2) panel and comprising a locking device (3). The locking device comprises a tongue (4) and an edge groove (5) provided in the second panel and the first panel, respectively, wherein the tongue and the edge groove are configured to cooperate with each other for locking a first edge portion (1a) of the first panel to a second edge portion (1b) of the second panel in a first direction (D1). The locking device further comprises a separate tongue (6) provided in an insertion groove (8) and a tongue groove (7) configured to cooperate with each other for locking the first edge portion to the second edge portion in a second direction (D2). A length of the tongue groove along the first or second edge portion is smaller than a length of the first or second edge portion, respectively. Alternatively, or additionally, a length of the insertion groove along the second or first edge portion is smaller than the length of the second or first edge portion, respectively. The panels are configured to be arranged in parallel with each other in a locked state of the first and second panels.

    摘要： The present invention relates to coupling means (8) for coupling a first edge (2) of a first flooring or covering panel and a second edge (3) of a second flooring or covering panel, both adapted to be arranged adjacent on a resting surface. Said coupling means (8) comprising a projection (8A) provided for on at least a portion of said first edge (2) and a groove (8B) provided for on at least a portion of said second edge (3), said coupling means (8) being shaped so as to lock the first and second edge (2, 3) one with the other in a first direction perpendicular to the lying plane of the panels and in a second direction parallel to the lying plane of the panels.
