Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for the manufacture of supplementary panes and associated distance reveals for completing existing windows (8) with the supplementary panes (6), which are cut out from large panes (10). In order to reduce the transport distances between a central and different mounting sites or places, the large panes (10) are stored in a mobile unit and transported therein to a place (S) with windows (8) to be completed, the supplementary panes (6) are cut out from the large panes (10) at said place (S) with windows (8) to be completed, the distance strips (24) for manufacturing distance reveals (7) are stored in the mobile unit (1), the distance reveals (7) are manufactured from the distance strips (24) at the place with the windows (8) to be completed, and said mobile units are moved, when the windows (8) at said place (S) are completed with supplementary panes (6), to another place (N) or other places (N, J, M) with windows (8) to be completed. A suitable unit (1) for carrying out this method is mobile and includes a trailer (3) which is hauled by a traction vehicle (2) which is disconnectable therefrom, whereby said trailer (3) includes a storage space (9) for the large panes (10) and a space with at least one device (26, 28, 32) for manufacturing the distance reveals (7).
Abstract:
With the purpose of reducing manufacturing costs, simplfying fitting and providing an optically pleasing impression, a framed surface component, especially a double-glazing unit, is proposed which has a recess (317) in the abutting periphery (316) and is held by L-section frame arms (41), one arm section (411) of which lies behind the surface component (21) and the other (412) runs parallel thereto at a distance from the abutting periphery (316) of the surface component (21), in which the recess (317) in the abutting periphery (316) of the surface component (21) and the free space between the surface component (21) and the arm section of the frame arm (41) running parallel to the abutting periphery (316) are filled with a curable casting compound providing an adhesive joint between the surface component (21) and the frame arm (41), where in a preferred embodiment there is a capping (417) covering the edge area of the surface component (21) bordering the frame arm (41) fitting closely by means of a pin (418) into a recess (414) in the arm section (412) of the frame arm (41).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a fastening element (5) for fixing a cover moulding and a panel unit, e.g. an additional glazing pane in an existing window structure. The element (5) includes a bearing or support surface (15) for directly or indirectly supporting the additional pane (18), a retaining and clamping surface (11) for retaining the pane (18) and fixing means (12, 13) for the cover moulding (14). The support surface (15) is the upper side of a part (4) of the comparatively thin element, one end portion (9) of the part (4) terminating in an upstanding, transverse portion (10) including the retaining and clamping surface (11), said portion (10) being joined to a part (12) provided with hook means (13) such that this part (12) and the hook means constitute fixing means for the cover moulding.
Abstract:
The starting material used for the production of curved glazing is a composite pane (1) consisting of a sandwich of at least two flat glass panes (2, 3) and a single or multiple plastic layer (4) positioned between each pair of glass panes. The composite pane is brought into engagement with a curved surface and is then bent at ambient temperature without softening of the plastic layer or layers until the edge sections of the pane engage on the curved surface (5). Finally, retaining means (8) are fitted in order to hold the cold-bent composite pane in the curved position.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a setting block in the form of a spacer (6) for supporting and adjusting a sheet member (5), preferably in the form of a glass package in structure elements, such as windows, doors and the like. The spacer (6) is provided with at least one rounded formation (7) on at least one of its edge sections, which are directly or indirectly connected to the spacer so that a mounting of the spacer will be easier to carry out and result in a reduced risk for damage influence on the sheet member (5).
Abstract:
A method for securing glass facade elements comprised of sealed glazing units which include at least two parallel glass sheets (2, 3) separated by a spacer (4) which extends between the glass sheets and terminates short of the outer edges of the sheets, wherein a glue layer (7) is applied between the glass sheets but outwardly of the spacer, and wherein facade elements are secured to a frame structure (8), preferably a frame structure comprised of aluminium profiled sections. The invention is characterized in that when fitting the facade element (1) a clip (12) is placed between two neighbouring facade elements, the clip (12) being secured mechanically in the frame structure (8) and having two tongues (13, 16; 14, 15) which project outwardly and obliquely in opposite directions in towards the frame structure; in that when no load acts on the clip, the distance (A) between the free extremities of the tongues exceeds the distance (B) between two neighbouring facade elements (1); and in that when fitting the clip (12) in position, the tongues (13, 16; 14, 15) are deformed elastically and caused to approach one another, whereafter the clip is placed between two neighbouring facade elements and the load on the clip is removed, therewith securing the clip in the frame structure (8) with the tongues (13-16) penetrating the glue layer (7) between the glass sheets, but outwardly of the spacer (4). The invention also relates to an arrangement.
Abstract:
A frame arrangement comprising an outer frame (130, 140, 160) at least part of which is attachable to an internal or external profile of a building and comprising at least one pane (110) supported by the outer frame and/or at least one inner frame (170, 190) supporting a pane, wherein the pane and/or inner frame is resiliently displaceable relative the outer frame.
Abstract:
A plate connected to at least two portions of members (4) for attaching the plate to a reinforcement (5), said plate having an outer surface and an opposite inner surface. Said portions each include a rod (8) extending between said inner and outer surfaces and forming a connection to a linking portion (40) of an attachment member (4) to enable translational motion of the plate relative to the linking portion (40).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an arrangement for filler bodies (8, 9) for filling cavities (11) inside a casing. Filler bodies (8, 9) consisting of rubber or a similar elastic material exhibit a number of non-rigid movable counter-pressure devices (12, 13), which, when in the extended position, are so arranged as to be capable of interacting with stops. Effective retention, amongst other things, is permitted in this way.
