L'invention concerne un frein (10) à tambour de véhicule automobile qui comporte : - deux segments (18A, 18B) de freinage; - un élément (28) d'ancrage comportant deux faces (32A, 32B) d'appui de deux deuxièmes extrémités (24) des segments (18A, 18B) de freinage; - un cylindre (34) de roue qui, dans un premier mode de fonctionnement "simplex", est apte à écarter transversalement des premières extrémités (22) adjacentes des segments (18A, 18B); caractérisé en ce que l'élément (28) d'ancrage comporte : - un corps (42) fixe dans lequel deux pistons (50A, 50B) coulissants portent chacun une face (32A, 32B) d'appui; - des moyens (44) d'écartement des pistons (50A, 50B) entre une position d'ancrage dans laquelle ils sont en butée sur le corps (42), et une position coulissante dans laquelle les pistons (32A, 32B) sont écartés pour permettre leur coulissement solidaire lors d'un fonctionnement en mode dit "duo servo".

A brake shoe assembly (1) for a drum brake, the brake shoe assembly being a single-piece construction and including a brake shoe (2) of generally circular form having two separate and opposed ends (17, 18), and defining a pair of friction lining mounting sections (11, 12) disposed on opposite sides of the brake shoe (2). The friction lining mounting sections (11, 12) have a T-shaped cross-sectional form defining an arcuate, radially outer platform (15) for mounting a friction lining (16) and a radially inwardly extending web (14). The brake shoe (2) including hinge means (27, 28) between the lining mounting sections (11, 12), facilitating pivoting movement of the lining mounting sections (11, 12), to alter the separation between the brake ends (17, 18) between a brake operative condition in which in use, the friction lining (16) engages a braking surface of a drum to which the brake shoe assembly (1) is fitted, and a brake inoperative condition in which there is no such engagement. The brake shoe assemblying further includes a backing plate depending from the brake shoe (2) in the region of the hinge means (27, 28) for mounting the brake shoe (2) to a brake shoe assembly support.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de freinage pour un véhicule qui comporte un frein à tambour (1), une première partie (2) comportant un plateau métallique (21) dont la paroi intérieure forme un support pour deux segments déplaçables, chaque segment étant munis d'une garniture de freinage, une seconde partie (3) comportant un tambour (31) dont la paroi intérieur latérale est adaptée pour former une surface d'appui aux garnitures de freinage créant lors d'un freinage des particules magnétiques de poussière de freinage, le frein à tambour comportant des aimants adaptés pour retenir au moins une partie desdites particules magnétiques de poussière de freinage, tel que les aimants sont positionnés le long de son bord périphérique du plateau.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Ermitteln einer Betriebsgröße einer Trommelbremse, welche Berechnungsverfahren für unterschiedliche Raddrehzahlbereiche vorsieht. Die Erfindung betrifft des Weiteren eine Trommelbremsanordnung zur Ausführung eines solchen Verfahrens.

End portion (17) of wear adjuster strut (10) for a drum brake is received in inwardly opening slots (19, 20) in brake shoe web (12a) and parking brake lever (11). End portion (17) is flattened forming sidewalls (23, 24), between which are channels (21, 22) that accommodate upper and lower edges of slot opening (19) in lever (11), thus trapping strut end (17) from lateral motionj with respect to lever (11). Cantilevered spring arm (29), which is clipped to strut (10) at (30), biases lever (11) and shoe (12) together. During brake assembly, strut (10) can be swung into slots (19, 20) after the shoe have been fitted to the backing plate.

The invention relates to an electromechanically actuated parking brake for motor vehicles, comprising a drum brake and an actuator (2) actuating said drum brake. The drum brake consists of two drum brake shoes and an expandable catch (5) which interacts with the actuator (2) by means of a reduction gear (9) arranged between said electromotor (8) and the power transmission element (10). In order to reduce the axial longitudinal dimensions of the actuator (2), the rotor (12) of the electromotor is hollow or tubular, and radially encompasses the reduction gear (9).

A presente invenção refere-se a novo um sistema de frenagem para veículos, tal como aqueles destinados ao transporte de cargas e/ou passageiros que é formado por características capazes de reduzir substancialmente a complexidade de construção desses sistemas de frenagem, particularmente daqueles modelos providos de duplo acionamento, e dessa forma, reduzir os custos envolvidos com a fabricação e montagem dos sistemas de frenagem e dos próprios veículos. Mais particularmente, a o sistema da presente invenção compreende uma armação (1) fixada ao eixo rígido (E) do veículo (V), e que é sobreposta por um tambor (2), o qual está associado ao cubo da roda com pneu (R), sendo que ao menos duas sapatas (3) dotadas de lonas de freio (30) são dispostas em bordas diametralmente opostas da dita armação (1) e se deslocam em direção da superfície interna do dito tambor (2) através de um conjunto acionador (4) que é formado por um primeiro acionador (5a) posicionado adjacente à uma extremidade das ditas sapatas (3), e um segundo acionador (5b) posicionado adjacente à extremidade oposta das ditas sapatas (3), entre os quais ao menos um deles está acoplado em um conjunto atuador (9) do veículo (V); e também compreende suportes (7a, 7b) montados concentricamente com os respectivos acionadores (5a, 5b) e que estão interconectados por meio de hastes (8) dispostas em suas extremidades.
