Abstract: Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Regelung eines Brennstoff-Luft-Gemisches eines Systems, wobei eine Stellgröße zur Ansteuerung eines Stellgliedes (2) des Systems in einer ersten Verfahrensphase zur Identifikation des Systemverhaltens mit einem Standardregler bestimmt wird, um den Ist-Wert im Mittel einem Soll-Wert anzugleichen, wobei ein Verlauf des Ist-Werts und ein Verlauf der Stellgröße während der ersten Verfahrensphase zur Identifikation des Systemverhaltens erfasst und aus diesen der Verstärkungsfaktor in Abhängigkeit der Stellgröße und die Totzeit bestimmt werden, wobei die Stellgröße nach der Bestimmung der Totzeit und des Verstärkungsfaktors in einer zweiten Verfahrensphase zur modellprädiktiven adaptiven Regelung des Systems mit einem insbesondere einen Smith-Prädiktor aufweisenden modellbasierten Regler bestimmt wird, welcher den Verstärkungsfaktor und die Totzeit berücksichtigt, um den Ist-Wert dem Soll-Wert anzugleichen, sodass die Stellgröße in der zweiten Verfahrensphase gegenüber der ersten Verfahrensphase weniger häufig und weniger stark geändert werden muss.

Abstract: Verfahren zur sicherheitsgerichteten Steuerung wenigstens eines Stellglieds einer Vorrichtung, insbesondere wenigstens eines elektrisch betätigten Gasventils (3), welches mittels zweier in Reihe geschalteter Relais geschaltet wird, wobei das Stellglied nur dann angesteuert ist, wenn das erste Relais (2) und das zweite Relais (10) geschaltet sind, wobei ein Stromfluss über das erste (2) Relais von einer ersten Überwachungseinrichtung überwacht wird, und wobei ein Stromfluss über das zweite Relais 10 von einer zweiten Überwachungseinrichtung überwacht wird, und wobei eine Kontrolleinrichtung (6) derart programmiert ist, dass eine Aktivierung des Stellglieds mittels eines Schaltens der beiden Relais (1, 10) nur dann erfolgt, wenn sowohl von der ersten Überwachungseinrichtung als auch von der zweiten Überwachungseinrichtung kein Stromfluss an die Kontrolleinrichtung (6) gemeldet wird.

The system can include a sensor configured to measure a temperature of a gas flowing in a gas flow path, a modulating orifice in fluid communication with the gas flow path, and a motor in mechanical communication with the modulating orifice. The system can further include a controller configured to receive temperature data indicative of the temperature of the gas. The controller can determine a target cross-sectional area of the modulating orifice based at least in part on the target gas input rate and the temperature of the gas and, in response, output a signal to the motor to transition the modulating orifice from a first position to a second position having the target cross-sectional area.

When the gas burner appliance (10) be- comes started running the fan (14) at a defined fan speed, increasing the open- ing of the gas flow modulator (18) while activating the ignition device (27) trying to ignite the gas/air mixture until the activation of ignition device results into a combustion of the gas/air mixture. Determining from the fan speed of the fan (14) and from the measured ambient air pressure an air volume flow. Measuring the gas pressure by the sensor (21) when the safety valve unit (19) is opened, the gas flow modulator (18) is opened and the fan (14) is running. Determining from the opening of the gas flow modulator (18) at which the combustion started and from the measured gas pressure a gas volume flow. Determining a ratio between the gas volume flow and the air volume and from said ratio the gas family of the combusted gas.

Abstract: A tip valve and a cook system incorporating same that automatically stops the flow of gas to a burner when tipped over and that automatically resets when disconnected from the fuel canister to allow the flow of gas to resume when righted and reconnected are provided. The tip valve includes a ball bearing freely moveable between a fuel canister actuator pin and a tip seal within a bore having two different diameters at each end thereof. The transition between the two diameters forms a taper that may be continuous forming a smooth tapered bore, or discontinuous formed by at least one counter bore. The automatic resetting is provided without the use of a mechanical pin or member.

Abstract: Изобретение относится к способам сжигания углеводородного топлива переменного состава. Способ оптимизации процесса горения углеводородного топлива в котле включает непрерывное измерение расхода топлива в котле и величины теплового потока в теплоносителе на выходе из котла, определение отклонений измеренных значений от первоначально измеренных и последующее изменение расхода воздуха, определение удельного расхода топлива на выработку 1 Гкал тепла, при этом осуществляют разовое дискретное увеличение расхода воздуха в начале оптимизации процесса горения топлива, при увеличении величины теплового потока продолжают увеличивать воздух до момента начала уменьшения теплового потока, при уменьшении величины теплового потока - уменьшают воздух до момента начала уменьшения теплового потока. Достигается оптимизация процесса горения углеводородного топлива в котле за счет минимизации расхода топлива на выработку тепловой энергии, сообщаемой теплоносителю.
