摘要： There is described a dispersive optical device (10) comprising an optically dispersive element (P) with a pair of angled surfaces (pA, pB), namely an upper surface (pA) and a lower surface (pB), positioned along the path of incident light (L) to cause refraction and dispersion of the incident light (L) entering the upper surface (pA) and exiting the lower surface (pB). The dispersive optical device (10) further comprises a mirror element (M) positioned under the lower surface (pB) and angled with respect to the lower surface (pB) to cause dispersed light emerging from the lower surface (pB) to be reflected back towards and through the optically dispersive element (P) to cause further refraction and dispersion of the dispersed light entering the lower surface (pB) and exiting the upper surface (pA). Such dispersive optical device (10) may in particular be used as optical concentrating device for solar energy harvesting.
