Abstract:
In one embodiment, a method (110) that determines conditions including that a user is located in a monitored area and not wearing a wearable device (112), and provides an alert based on the determinations and an input pattern from one or plural sensors (114).
Abstract:
An emergency notification system for a building is provided. The emergency notification system includes one or more inputs devices mounted throughout the building. The one or more input devices can be configured to receive a manual user-input. The emergency notification system can include one or more output devices mounted throughout the building. The one or more output devices can include a plurality of LED arrays. Each of the plurality of LED arrays can be configured to emit light of a different color to indicate a different type of emergency. The emergency notification system can include one or more control devices configured determine a type of emergency occurring within the building based on the manual user-input. Furthermore, in response to determining the type of emergency, the one or more control devices can activate one of the LED arrays to emit light of a color indicative of the type of emergency.
Abstract:
A digital electronic system for colour video intercom and control of access points in a complex; said system comprising; (a) at least one access point intercom interface unit, (b) at least one digital data switch or router in communication with said access point intercom interface unit, (c) a plurality of remote intercom interface units distributed through said complex; each of said remote intercom interface units in communication with one said at least one switch, or router.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a call system for use in the field of nursing care. Said call system comprises a bed operator device (10) and a signaling device (12), whereby the bed operator device (10) has an emergency call button (16) and a first switch (18) that is coupled to said emergency call button (16). The switch controls the signaling device (12) via first connection means (20, 22, 24, 26, 28). In order to improve the reliability of call systems for use in the field of nursing care, a second switch (34) is provided which is coupled to the emergency call button (16) and which controls the signaling device (12) via second connection means (36, 38) that are independent of the first connection means (20, 22, 24, 26, 28).
Abstract:
A data transfer apparatus wherein a double switch system is adopted for safety. Two pieces of data inputted through a switch to a DI/DO control circuit (2) for peripheral devices are converted into serial data by circuits (Ar, Br), and the converted serial data are combined into a single piece of serial data by a circuit (Cr). The serial data is sent to a communication control section (1) of a CNC via a transmission line (3a). The section (1) divides the received serial data into two pieces of serial data, and converts each of the divided pieces of serial data into parallel data.
Abstract:
An electronic barrier alarm sensor having a flexible sensing device. The sensor may be mounted to a door, door frame, window, window frame, object or wall to detect when a door or window has been opened, that an object has been moved or to detect the presence of an animal. The flexible sensing device comprises one or more attributes that change as the flexible sensing device is bent, or unbent, by operation of a door, window, removal of an object, or the presence of an animal. Based on the changes, the electronic barrier alarm sensor may transmit an alarm signal when one or more measured values of the one or more attributes changes by more than one or more predetermined amounts.
Abstract:
A security system (1; 101), preferably a fire alarm system (1; 101), comprising a main control device (10), at least a first communication unit (20) connected by cable to the main control device (10), at least one peripheral device (22A, 22B, 22C, 22D) communicating with the first communication unit (20) by means of a wireless communication, wherein the first communication unit (20) is configured to manage the communication between the main control device (10) and at least one peripheral device (22A, 22B, 22C, 22D). The security system (1; 101) comprises a second communication unit (30) connected by cable to the first communication unit (20) and connected by cable to the main control device (10), wherein the second communication unit (30) is configured to manage the communication between the main control device (10) and at least one peripheral device (22A, 22B, 22C, 22D) to replace the first communication unit (20) during a malfunction of said first communication unit (20).
