The insulating composite film comprises at least one layer made of PP, PC or PET material, and further comprises at least one other layer made of a high-hardness thermoplastic resin or coating layer coated with a high-hardness thermosetting resin. Es sind schon Garne zur elektrischen Leitung bekannt, die jeweils einen Verbund von Fasern aus Kohlenstoffnanoröhren und/oder einer Vielzahl von Schichten aus Graphen umfassen und eine bestimmte Porosität aufweisen. Die Garne weisen eine elektrische Isolationsschicht auf, die durch das Auftragen einer Polymerbeschichtung hergestellt ist. Die elektrische Isolationsschicht muss so gut an dem Garn haften, dass sich die Isolation auch bei mechanischer Beanspruchung, beispielsweise einer Umlenkung mit einem kleinen Biegeradius, nicht ablöst. Außerdem soll die elektrische Isolationsschicht möglichst dünn ausgebildet sein, um einen niedrigen Wärmeleitwiderstand zu erreichen. Darüber hinaus muss die elektrische Isolationsschicht elastisch genug sein, um die möglichen geometrischen Veränderungen des biegeschlaffen Garns mitmachen zu können, ohne sich abzulösen. Bei dem erfindungsgemäßen elektrischen Leiter wird die elektrische Isolierung verbessert. Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, dass die äußeren Fasern des Verbunds derart fluoriert sind, dass sie eine elektrische Isolationsschicht (2) bilden, und dass die Fasern in einem Innenbereich (3) elektrisch leitend sind.

Said feedthrough element has an encapsulation (26) made of a cellulose material, the specific resistance thereof being reduced by treatment according to the invention relative to that of cellulose material without such treatment. A greater dielectric strength of the insulation formed by the encapsulation (26) and further solid barriers (28) can thereby be achieved. The improved dielectric strength advantageously allows additional design freedom for the feedthrough.

The present invention relates to phase separated siloxane-hydrocarbon copolymer surfaces which are hard and hydrophobic and can be superhydrophobic by the addition of nanoparticles. More specifically the siloxane oligomer / polymer precursor is terminated with (a) chemically reactive group(s). The bond between the siloxane moiety and the hydrocarbon functional moiety is a Si atom directly bonded to a carbon atom. It is applied (for example) to the entire surface of a fibre reinforced and void-free polymer concrete core with 60 to 88% polymeric and inorganic fillers for application as a high voltage insulator. The product has high mechanical strength, impact resistance and good electrical insulation properties. The coating provides good UV resistance, hydrophobicity and a hard self-cleaning surface for use as outdoor high voltage electrical insulator in areas of high pollution with low leakage currents when energised and can also be applied to other products.
