A switching assembly is disclosed which includes a base structure, spaced apart electrical contacts secured thereto, an electrical contact strip for selective electrical contact with the contacts, and spring biased switching means normally forcing the contact strip into selective engagement with one of the electrical contacts, the improvement resides in an electrical yoke terminal having one portion supporting the contact strip intermediate the ends tehreof and another integral portion extending through the base structure for securing the yoke terminal to the base structure.

A device for controlling electrical apparatus in an electrical wiring system and/or connecting electrical apparatus external to the electrical wiring system, comprising an operating portion designed to open/close an electrical contact and/or to receive a connector of the electrical apparatus external to the wiring system, an inlet opening designed to receive at least one electrical wire, a conductor terminal, a resilient locking member and an actuation lever. The locking member comprises an operating portion resiliently connected to the conductor terminal and on which the actuation lever may act and a locking portion in which a passage opening is formed. An edge of the passage opening is able to lock the wire when the resilient locking member is in a rest position and is moved away when the actuation lever acts on the resilient locking member. The locking portion comprises a guide end inclined towards the inlet opening which faces the inlet opening.

The present invention concerns a switch configuration (S) comprising at least two switch units (10), each of which is arranged to achieve a switch function, wherein each respective switch unit (10) comprises an activating device (20) arranged so as to perform said switch function and so as to be push-actuated by means of a control device (60, 70), wherein each respective activating device (20) is displaceably arranged in a module part (30, 40) and arranged so as to support and be actuated by means of a first type of control device (60) and so as to be actuated by means of a second type of control device (70) arranged for the actuation of activating devices (20) in two adjacent switch units (10), wherein said module part (30, 40) is arranged so as to support said second type of control device (70).

A rocker switch that can include multiple redundancy at each position. Specifically, the rocker switch is a two-position rocker switch with both positions in line and with double or triple redundancy at each position. The rocker switch still provides a user with definitive snap "on" switching and the snap positions which can be used to activate multiple redundant internal circuit switches to provide for increased reliability of switch operation.

Ferner weist das Schaltmodul (102) einen Betätiger (222) auf, der in dem Gehäuse (220) angeordnet und ausgebildet ist, um bei der Schaltbewegung des Gehäuses (220) eine durch eine Steuerkontur (244) steuerbare Betätigungsbewegung auszuführen. Ferner weist das Schaltmodul (102) einen Energiewandler (234) auf, der in dem Gehäuse (220) angeordnet ist und ausgebildet ist, um angetrieben durch die Betätigungsbewegung des Betätigers (222) einen elektrischen Impuls bereitzustellen. Abstract:
A power switch control module (100) for a power window control circuit of a motor vehicle. The control module incorporates a printed circuit board (102), a plurality of switch contacts (104a-104f) secured to the printed circuit board (102), a plurality of connector terminals (108a-108e) also secured to the printed circuit board (102), a plurality of high current traces (110a-110e) formed on an upper surface (106) of the printed circuit board (102) for coupling selected pairs of the switch contacts and connector terminals electrically together, and a switch control (112). The switch control (112) is mounted in a frame member (114) for pivotal movement relative to the printed circuit board (102) and is movable between up and down positions. When in the up position the switch control (112) electrically couples a first selected pair of switch contacts (104a-104f) and when in the down position the switc control (112) electrically couples a second selected pair of the switch contacts (104a-104f). The high current traces (110a-110e) are capable of handling about 20-80 amps of current. Since they are formed on the upper surface (106) of the printed circuit board (102), no injection molding, tooling or techniques are required for construction of the module (100) as typically required with prior art control modules. Also, the undersurface of the printed circuit board (102) can advantageously be used to mount other electronic components of the control circuit.
