The present invention relates to an adapter (1) for connecting a light to a track having mains phases and comprising: - a housing (2), - at least one spring-loaded connector (6.1) linked to the housing (2), and - a cover (4) partially covering the housing (2) and having at least one opening (8.1). The cover (4) is displaceable so as to be placed selectively in one of: - a position in which the at least one spring-loaded connector (6.1) extends at least partially through the at least one opening (8.1), - a position in which the cover (4) covers the at least one spring-loaded connector (6.1).

A cover for an AC plug comprises a top wall including one or more orientation features that protrude from a top surface of the top wall and Erst and second sidewalls that extend from the top wall in a perpendicular orientation relative to the top wall. First and second retainer walls extend from the first and second sidewalls, respectively, in a perpendicular orientation relative to the first and second sidewalls. The orientation features can be employed by a user to properly orient the AC plug when mating it with a corresponding receptacle connector. An orientation insert for an AC plug includes orientation features in addition to a light that can be activated by depressi ng a top surface of the insert. The light can be used to assist a user in locating a receptacle connector and positioning the AC plug to properly mate with the corresponding receptacle connector.

서로 다른 AC 입력 전원을 공급하는 모듈형 PDU가 제공된다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 PDU는, 서로 다른 전압의 전원들을 전달하는 베이스와 베이스에 연결되어 특정 전압의 전원을 플러그가 연결된 기기들에 전달하는 멀티 소켓 모듈을 포함한다. 이에 의해, 하나의 PDU를 통해 AC 입력 전원의 다양화를 이룰 수 있게 되어, PDU 설비 비용을 절감할 수 있게 되며, PDU 개수 감소로 인한 전기 설비의 간단화를 이룰 수 있다.

Die Erfindung betritt ein linearbewegliches Gleitkontaktelement (1) mit Transportvorrichtung (2). Derartige linearbewegliches Gleitkontaktelement (1) mit Transportvorrichtung (2) werden benötigt, um Leiterbahnen von parallel zueinander ausgerichteten, übereinander angeordneten Leiterkarten elektrisch miteinander zu kontaktieren. Dazu ist das Gleitkontaktelement (1) auf einer mit einem Außengewinde (25) versehenen Spindel (24) der Transportvorrichtung (2) angeordnet. Über eine Drehung der Transportvorrichtung (2) kann das Gleitkontaktelement (1) mittels des Außengewindes (25) linear entlang der Spindel (24) bewegt werden. An den Enden der Spindel (24) sind ein erstes Lager (21) sowie ein zweites Lager (22) vorgesehen. Die Lager (21, 22) ermöglichen eine Lagerung der Transportvorrichtung zwischen zwei parallel zueinander angeordneten Leiterkarten.

An electrical cord having improved safety features comprises a plug having a first body portion surrounding respective first ends of first, second, and third electrical wires. A live blade is in electrical communication with the first end of the first electrical wire. A neutral blade is in electrical communication with the first end of the second electrical wire. A ground pin receptacle is in electrical communication with the first end of the third electrical wire. A removable ground pin is configured to be removably secured within the ground pin receptacle to place the ground pin receptacle and third electrical wire in electrical communication with the ground pin. The first body portion surrounds and maintains the live blade, neutral blade, and ground pin receptacle in spaced apart orientation corresponding to sockets on an electrical outlet.

Technology presented herein increases a user's enjoyment of sound by personalizing an audio signal so that the user perceives the audio signal as if the user had ideal hearing and/or desired hearing. In one embodiment, headphones on a user's head include a sensor and a speaker. While the speaker plays an audio signal to the user, the sensor records the user's response to the audio signal. The sensor can be a microphone, a brainwave sensor, an EEG sensor, etc. The user's response can be the audio response inside the user's ear, the brainwave response associated with the user, electrical skin response associated with the user, etc. Based on the measured response, and based on the knowledge of how other people perceive sound, the audio signal is modified to compensate for the difference between the user's hearing and the ideal hearing and/or desired hearing, therefore increasing the user's enjoyment of sound.
