Abstract:
Die Erfindung betrifft ein elektrisches Kontaktelement (1, 1'), welches einen Anschlussbereich (AB) zum Anschließen eines elektrischen Leiters (4) und einen Kontaktbereich (KB) zur Kontaktierung eines Gegenkontaktelements aufweist, wobei der Anschlussbereich (AB) im Wesentlichen hohlzylinderförmig ausgestaltet ist und eine Innenwandfläche und eine Außenwandfläche aufweist, wobei innerhalb des Anschlussbereichs (AB) ein Kontaktierungskörper (6) angeordnet ist, mit welchen die Litzen (5) des Leiters (4) gegen die Innenwandfläche des Anschlussbereichs (AB) pressbar sind. Die Litzen (5) des anzuschließenden Leiters (4) werden in den Anschlussbereich (AB) des Kontaktelements (1, 1') eingeführt, anschließend wird der Dorn (7) des Blindniets mithilfe einer Nietzange kontaktseitig herausgezogen, dabei wird der Kontaktierungskörper (6) gestaucht und dadurch werden die Litzen (5) gegen die Innenwand des Anschlussbereichs (AB) gepresst. Zuletzt reißt der Dorn reißt an einer definierten Sollbruchstelle ab.

Зажим для ремонта проводов ВЛЭП содержит седло из желобообразного профиля и кожух. Длина седла больше длины кожуха. Кожух выполнен в виде полого цилиндра, участок которого удален в сегменте, соответствующем диаметру провода. Седло вставляется в кожух с возможностью перемещения. Провод касается внутренней поверхности седла и внутренней поверхности кожуха. Для этого центр окружности днища желоба отстоит от центра его наружной поверхности на Δ=(D-d)⁄2, где D – наружный диаметр желоба, d – диаметр провода. На выступающем за кожух участке седла выполнены лыски для его удержания. На внутренней поверхности седла - поперечные канавки. Провод закрывают в зажиме поворотом кожуха, фиксируют в зажиме – обжимают и/или наносят токопроводящие клеящие или отверждающиеся вещества.

Tools for crimping or cutting of an object such as a wire, cable, or connector. The tool includes a first member and a second member configured to come together through a gap to crimp or cut a wire, cable or connector and a laser positioned to visually indicate a region where at least one member traverses as the first and second member come together through the gap. This visual indication aids in alignment of the object for the crimping or cutting operation.
Abstract:
A method is provided to determine a quality acceptance criterion using force signatures measured on a first and a second set of elements. The first set has no quality defect and the second set has a deliberate quality defect. Selection of an initial subset of time points is based on statistical analysis of the force data on the force signatures in the two sets. The quality acceptance criterion includes a quality threshold established using Mahalanobis Distance (MD) values and the MD values are produced from force data at a selected initial subset of time points for each element in the two sets. An output of the determined quality acceptance criterion is using the defined quality threshold to separate an element having a force signature into a group of elements having no quality defect or into a group of elements having a quality defect like the deliberate quality defect.

L'invention concerne un câble (1) électrique muni d'une gaine (2) comportant un marquage externe. Le marquage est formé d'un bloc (3) de deux motifs (4, 5), les deux motifs étant consécutifs dans une longueur du câble, ledit bloc étant répété au moins deux fois dans la longueur du câble à partir de l'extrémité libre (12) du câble. L'invention concerne également un procédé de sertissage d'en contact (7) sur un tel câble, le marquage externe du câble permettant de connaître la position du câble dans le fût et ainsi garantir que le sertissage qui va avoir lieu sera de bonne qualité.

A sheathed and flanged temperature probe has a cylindrical sheath (52) and a flange (38) of the same metallic material. The cylindrical sheath (52) is closed on one end (48) and open on the other (58), and has a length at least an order of magnitude greater than its outer diameter. The temperature sensing element is inserted into the sheath, leaving wires (54) protruding from the open end of the sheath. The flange member (34) is formed from a single piece of metal, cold drawn using an awl to form a continuous sleeve (40) having an axis perpendicular to the planar surface of the flange (38). The sheath (52) is inserted into the sleeve (40). The flange is secured to the central portion of the sheath solely using a press crimper, pressing inward over a majority of the circumference of the sleeve, leaving crimp edges extending on opposite sides of the sleeve.

A bell crank type strip feeding apparatus is disclosed in which one arm (36) of the bell crank (32) is coupled to an actuator (58) and the other arm (38) has a feed pawl (44) thereon for feeding the strip (2). The actuator (58) is a crank pin (58) which is moved along a circular path about a fixed center. The intermediate pivot of the bell crank (32) is mounted for movement along an arcuate path in response to the circular motion of the crank pin (58). The intermediate pivotal axis of the bell crank (58) is yieldingly supported so that it can move laterally of the arcuate axis path when the feed pawl (44) engages a fixed stop (45). A shearing mechanism (26) is also disclosed for shearing the strip material (2) at the conclusion of the feeding stroke.

A quick change mounting plate (12) for securing an end fed (18) or a side fed (16) electrical terminal applicator, alternatively, to a press (2) for operating the applicator (16 or 18), is provided with latches (80, 82, 90, 94) for locking the base plate (34 or 36) of the respective applicator (16 or 18) to the mounting plate (12). Each latch (80, 82, 90, 94) is movable between a raised latching position and a lowered position in which the latch (80, 82, 90, 94) does not interrupt the surface (66) of the mounting plate (12), upon which surface (66) the respective base plate (34, or 36) is to be supported. The latches, one (94) of which is positioned substantially centrally of said surface (66), are located to engage, in their raised positions, the edges of the base plate (34 or 36) of the respective applicator (16 or 18). The latches (90 and 94, or 80 and 82) which are not to be used for this purpose in respect of a particular base plate (34 or 36) are kept in their lowered positions so that surface to surface contact between such base plate (34 or 36) and the mounting plate (12) can be achieved.
